Hello all, another food and restaurant review! I'll start off by saying the decor and the atmosphere is absolutely awesome. The art on the walls is amazing! Food portions are right on par. My daughter and I got quesadillas and I could barely finish mine well packed with protein meats!! We were both going to get pork quesadillas but there was a small mix-up and she ended up getting a chicken quesadilla. No big deal it was not sent back her and I just split what we had and we each had our half pork and half chicken quesadilla perfectly fine with me! The only reason there are four stars on some of my review is because no one is perfect in this was my first time here! My mother-in-law's food came out a little bit later than the rest of our food. The father-in-law said that he actually liked it better than a place local to Salem that's always a positive!! The place I speak of is definitely the best in Salem for Mexican food! Salsa was very nice with a back flavor of heat. So it does well for my bad tummy I can't have super hot things at all. The chips, I would be surprised if they were bought because they taste fresh enough that they are probably made there everyday.

We were greeted right away, and then a host brought us to an outdoor table so we could enjoy a movie while we dined. When he sat us, he put his finger on the menu and asked, "Do you want chips and salsa?" They were 2.99. This is the first time in my life that I've seen a Mexican place charge for this. Mind you, I paid 12.99 for a 12oz jalepeno, Margherita. The waiter was fantastic, and the food was excellent. My wife had three 🌮 🌮 🌮 that were five bucks a taco! To sum it all up, Great vibe, fantastic view, good food and expensive. I'm holding back a star due to pricing. I think it was a little much. I mean paying for chips and salsa?

AMAZING MEXICAN FOOD! I'm from Texas originally, and it's hard to find GOOD Mexican food here in Ohio! The meat is usually bland and unseasoned in most places, I don't know why. But THIS was delicious! They also have the coolest beer tap system I've ever seen! It fills the cup from the bottom and doesn't leave a lot of head on the top. This place is about an hour away from me but anytime I drive past here, coming back from PA, I stop for dinner. It's SO GOOD! (I only gave 4 stars for service because the bartender seemed very distracted but she may have been new.)

This was our third time giving this place a shot. This was by far our worst experience. Our waiter took our order and was never seen again. My food and my three kids food came out and my wife’s order did not. Five minutes past and I was finally able to flag down someone to ask about her order. They then brought out her order of vegetarian black bean tacos. There were no black beans or grilled peppers and onions. Instead, she got mostly sliced carrots, a couple pieces of grilled broccoli and a couple of slices of avocado. Mostly carrots! When we asked another person about it (maybe a manager?) he said he thought they ran out of black beans. They did indeed run out of black beans but never told my wife…instead they replaced the beans and peppers/onions with carrots and broccoli. My wife didn’t eat it. They got my wife a very small side of rice. Then they had the nerve to try and charge us for her terrible meal. We had to flag down another employee (waiter and manager gone) and after showing them she didn’t eat it, they took it off our bill. Ridiculous!

Additionally, the margaritas are from a pre-made mix (not good) and cost $10 for a regular size. The menu is rather small for a Mexican restaurant. The prices are high compared to most other Mexican places in the area and the kids options are limited. If your kids want simple tacos, your only options is 3 street tacos for $17…and no sides (or $6 each)! Oh…they also charge for chips and salsa! Needless to say, we...

We’ve eaten here a few times after sporting events, and every single visit has been a disaster. This last one sealed it—we’re done. They had maybe one or two servers covering the entire restaurant, so service was basically nonexistent. I spent $120 on a lunch that wasn’t even worth half that. The food is bland, poorly prepared, and no better than fast food. And the audacity to charge extra for chips? That’s a joke. Every other Mexican restaurant around offers them free, and honestly, those places taste better too.

Our drinks were barely refilled once, and when we sat down, it took 15 minutes with zero acknowledgment before I had to go chase someone down just to get our order taken. That’s not bad service—it’s pathetic.

This place is overpriced, understaffed, and completely clueless about how to treat paying customers. We’ve given them multiple chances, and it’s been garbage every time. Save your money and go literally anywhere else—you’ll get better food, better service, and won’t feel robbed walking...
