The Barn at Firestone Farms — Local services in Fairfield Township

Our daughter and son in law got married on March 1, 2024 on a Friday at the Beautiful Barn. We highly recommend this Amazing venue. We first visited the Barn and had a meeting with Angie, the wedding coordinator. She was very helpful, friendly, and offered much wisdom all through our planning process and through the wedding. She is outstanding and a delight to work with. We also attended the Barn open house and taste tasting events at the Barn which also helped us in our planning process. We loved having the marriage ceremony by the lake, and thankfully God answered our prayers to have a very nice day in March. The Barn offered an amazing, beautiful space for the reception as well. We had 230 people which included about 45 kids. Angie helped us configure the best table setting option for our event. We utilized Julien Grey’s catering and received many compliments from our guests about the food! He also was wonderful to work with. The hospitality of Angie, Katie, and Amy as well as the staff at the bar were exceptional. Everyone was friendly and helpful including the staff of the caterer. Angie, Katie, and Amy helped clean up tables while we enjoyed dancing and time spent with our guests. They went above and beyond for our party. We were also blessed with their assistance guiding us as we set up. They also offered helpful tips to setting up the cookie table and place settings. My daughter and her party loved the privacy of the bridal suite and complimentary Mimosas. We could go on and on with the compliments about this venue. Bryan Ladd led us to the dance floor and brought the beats for the best dance parties of our life! Many commented to us… it was the best wedding they’ve been to- even some who worked The Lake Cub and Vineyards venues. This is a new venue, so Book asap as they are filling up fast! We were so blessed by them all! The Venue its self is lovely! It is clean and very pretty. I would say the only think I noticed is the lay out / flow isn’t the best depending how you decide to lay our floor plan out. The bar area is very small. To get up to the bridal suite or downstairs to the other bar and seating area ( aside from going outside and walking all the way around to go downstairs) there is not a lot of accessibility. If you want to use the space downstairs for anything during your reception know anyone not able to do stairs well will likely not be able to go down there. Like I said the building itself is very pretty but u am shocked to say the size does not reflect what I thought it would be and the layout inside doesn’t flow overly well. The back balcony is nice but the stairs are kind of in the way at the bottom of the ceremony area, so plan to enter from the downstairs not the stair case for your ceremony. The venue is nice u will say over all even with those minor things I personally point out. Where this venue LACKS is customer service. The “coordinator” was not helpful or respectful she was doing her own thing all day and didn’t seem to even offer or know when or where she was supposed to help? Maybe I am mistaken but as the venue coordinator shouldn’t you be a little more in charge / hands on. It wasn’t a welcoming experience.

We had the most incredible experience at The Barn. The space itself is absolutely beautiful; every corner felt elegant, warm, and picture-perfect. We especially loved the new chairs; they added such a clean, modern touch to the room and truly elevated the entire aesthetic.

One of the biggest blessings was having the venue set up our cookie table for us. It took so much stress off of me, my bridesmaids, and my mom. The display turned out amazing, and our guests could not stop talking about it! Speaking of our guests, everyone raved about the food, and the bar service was fantastic, drinks were made quickly and served with a smile all night long.

The event coordinators were incredible the day of and helped with everything we needed during setup. A special thank-you to Angie, who was so kind and helpful with every question I had leading up to the big day. Her support made the planning process so much easier.
