Nice asphalt walking/biking trail with a long tunnel near the trail head a couple of blocks off of East Park Avenue. There is limited off street parking but cars can also park in the adjacent grassy area. Part of the trail between the Meredith Tunnel and Pricketts Fort apparently washed away during heavy rains so pay close attention when riding a bicycle. At Prickets Fort, there is a bridge that crosses over the river & then the trail becomes gravel and follows along the Monongahela River. The trail evidently goes to Morgantown but I have only riden to the area just across the river from Rivesville. Read moreLOVE this trail EXCEPT the tunnel. Half of the lights are burnt out and there are creepy doorways every 50 feet that a predator could hide in. I never feel safe in their. The town needs to invest in better lighting and a bright white paint job. As is, I dont advise any parent allowing their daughter (or son) to walk through that tunnel alone.
