Hey what's up !? First of all I'm not one to say anything about anything to anyone most of the time however today is the day I speak out. So my washer finally gave up even after all the voodoo and blood sacrifices ive put into it she disappointed me. So I jumped in my lambo-feeties and headed up the street to SPEEDWAY APPLIANCE FAIRMONT. Now I called them a month or so ago asking about a washer and what is involved with getting one but mine started acting right so I thought well let me ride this out. But alas I was a FOOL. Now here the best part. I walked in and spoke with the man there I believe he was the owner and I forgot to ask his name which hindsight was rude of me. Anyway he showed me an older model for 275$ HE without that thing in the middle I was like ok I'll take it knowing damn well I only had 300 to spend and I shared that with the man and prayed he would come down a little bit on the price. To my absolute amazement this kind man not only cut me the best deal I have ever gotten on an appliance he did so with kindness and respect. Like my dude you are my hero . And I 1000% recommend going there to see for yourself the treatment you get it's incomparable to big box stores and friendlier than Amazon always shop and eat small give your time and business to your neighbors not a stranger. Looking at the selection of items in the store they are all newer and more sophisticated than you might think with flat top stoves and stainless steel refrigerators that have the double door design. Can't hurt just to walk in and say hi right? You may find yourself a new "only place I go" I know I did. Again thank you to the man at SPEEDWAY APPLIANCE FAIRMONT, you truly gave me a blessing...

Wow, such friendly and helpful service! My fiance and I are a young couple who just moved into a home in town. He's new to Fairmont, and I'm new to "adulting." The salesman Pat in the store was just so nice and helpful, and made such a new, intimidating experience very digestible for us as new home owners. Our dryer caught on fire so we decided to treat ourselves to a new washer/dryer combo, and ended up walking out with a new stove and a new fridge! The washer and dryer were gently used, and the stove and fridge were brand new. I was curious how they got their stuff so cheap, but on the back of the fridge was a Liquidation note, so that cleared some things up for me. It was so satisfying being able to support a local business and Pat did everything he could to get us the best deal possible. The only problem is our new washer isn't turning on, but he's sending a repairman our way ASAP. A note to anyone with an older home: if you're shopping for a new stove, please measure and take note of where your gas line is— our stove doesn't rest on the wall because the protruding gas line is in the way, and newer stoves don't have as much room for the gas line as older ones. Now we have to figure out a way to adjust the gas line to fit our stove. One final note, Pat reccomended that we buy an indoor dryer vent, and what a reccomendation! We got a fancy $60 one, and before now I'd never heard of those, but it was so worth it. It passively heats our basement, and the air coming out smells so nice— like laundry detergent and dryer sheets! Dealing with Speedway appliance has been a trying experience. At first it was great because it seemed they had just what I wanted. After that it was all down hill. They did show up in a timely fashion, however one of the workers came into my home with no shirt. When I requested him to get dressed he did and was apologetic but still, very unprofessional! Then, after they left and I used the machine I realized the paint was wet! They painted it right before bringing it! Again, unprofessional. Then I realized the lid switch was broken. I called the next day and they made arrangements to come do the repairs and stood me up not once, not twice but three times. The forth (and final, show up or not) they did show 4 hours after the time given. The machine is beat to pieces and I don't expect it to work long but will not deal with Speedway again. I'll just use the machine till it dies, then find...
