Okay I'm really depressed over this trip to Dairy Queen Corner. I have been waiting to go here and finally got the chance on Thursday July 6th and I feel it was a waste of money and time.

I was excited to try their Hot dogs because everyone that follows me on Yelp and Google knows I love my Hot Dogs! I was surprised they weren't busy and I passed Woodys and Att's to go here. I went inside instead of the window (which I liked by the way, them having old fashion walkup window service)

I owent to counter but cashier was too busy on phone to take my order. 2 girls were talking behind her all huddled up but finally the younger of the 2 came over to ask if I needed help. She literally looked 12!!!

I placed order for 2 Hot dogs with chili, slaw and onions and she charged me $6.56. I paid but was surprised because menu says 2 Hot Dogs for $3.99 so it should have been less than $5

I stood and waited for several minutes, took time to take some interior pics and she brought me a small brown bag. I thanked her and left. When I opened the bag I was horrified! See my pics!! Both Hot dogs were rolled up into one small pieces of white tissue style paper. (They should have been wrapped separately!!!!!!) NO NAPKINS, NO SALT OR PEPPER! So, I went back in. All the girls behind counter were out of sight. I wanted to return the thrown in messy Hot dogs and get refund.

To go means usually you are driving...no one likes freaking messy food when driving!

The weiner were boiled tasting but had good flavor. The chili was extremely bland so I'm very glad I went back dor salt and pepper...it was needed. The onions were sparsely on there and that slaw was horrible. I had to take it off my second Hot dog all together. The slaw was very wet and tasted old. It also tasted like old store bought Walmart deli Cole slaw. It was bad!

I really want to give them another try and update this review with better news. I will try them again a few months but definitely not eating store bought...

Its OK. They are leaning hard on their tradition and nostalgia.

There is absolutely no reason why the line needs to be around the building and into the parking lot for ice-cream. There should be a dedicated line just for simple soft serve cones that take 30 seconds to make (outside window in my opinion), and a separate line for items that take longer like avalanches, and food orders. It seemed like every person was getting a shake or avalanche and this was holding my family up for almost 30min+?!

No gloves to been seen. Handling money, pens, wiping sweat off foreheads etc-- no gloves-- no hand washing.

There should be more than one cash register, and more people working. The whole thing just becomes a massive headache--especially when you have 4 kids waiting.

The burgers we got were so dry and tasteless we couldn't finish them. The onion rings were awesome because they were made to order. The outside dining area was perfect. Our server was overwhelmed but friendly.

Whomever is running this operation needs booted and someone who knows how to turn orders in a fast and efficient way needs to take over. It was the slowest and most inefficient operation I've seen. Ill still go back when Im on vacation because I grew up begging to go to DCC, but come on.... you can run a better business with a little more thought and...

I had great experience here as a young kid , I took my children here for the first time with their dad and it was my first time back here in years . It was pretty warm out and immediately the cones coming out of the window were melting all over my hands (normal it’s hot out right?) so I try to remedy the problem and ask for some cups to transfer the ice cream to because the cones weren’t going to work. I explained I needed more than one because I had bought more than one Ice cream cone. Their dad then goes to the window to ask for a couple spoons so we could eat the ice cream finally and we’re immediately met with attitude . He had been standing in line to wait to ask and the girl at the window doesn’t even let him get a word out and he’s met with “did you need something” in the most disrespectful tone . Sorry it’s 87 degrees and I wanted to take my kids and their dad to experience this place for the first time and it was awful between the mess and the attitude I don’t think we will be back which breaks my heart because I had great memories here as a kid . . I waited in line to go to the restroom to clean my arms off from the melted ice cream and the sink only had one of the handles working . Overall not a very welcoming atmosphere . Atleast not...

First time here and it was popping! The lot was almost full and the line was out into it; there were less people inside, though. The workers were friendly and as fast as possible considering the wait. The music inside was also great, as I'm a sucker for classic rock and pop. The ice cream (especially in the avalanche) was thick, rich, and creamy. I enjoyed my PBJ avalanche so much that I went back up and got a hot fudge sundae. 😂 Great portions and prices and so many options! I took ages to decide because I wanted to try almost all of them. It's easy to see why this is a Fairmont staple. Update: I can vouch for the Chips Ahoy avalanche too. Update #2: Hot fudge brownie!

A Fairmont tradition. This place is always packed and somehow they still manage to help everyone in a timely manner. It's busy because it's so good ! We are new to the area and we're really surprised with the amount of menu options for food and the desserts of course. Careful ordering a large ice cream it is a tower ! They are not kidding with the sizes. Everything we have tried has been good and recommend the pepperoni rolls. Only open for the season, will be closing first week of October. We look forward to next year !
