Carone's Market - Mountain Top, PA — Local services in Fairview Township

I like that you don't have to buy a certain amount of product for the sale to work (i.e.- 2 or more for the discount) and thier prices are pretty decent in spite of the competition down the road. Place is clean and pretty well stocked. Most employees are quiet but polite and always say 'thank you', 'have a good day/night' or both. Would have been 5 stars but the one older woman in the deli has a very poor attitude and I feel uncomfortable shopping there when she is working. But I still shop there regardless.

EDIT: 3/25/24 Carone's is getting more expensive than Weis down the road and that's saying alot. On top of it, the quality (and quantity) of the pre-made (deli) foods is getting worse. To top it all off, you still see fit to keep that one bitter old lady in the deli. I wanted the cheapest ham to top off a hoagie I bought here and she not only laughed, but pulled a hunk of chopped-ham out of the case. On top of that, it was $7.49 a pound! this place is rude mean and unkind to the adolescents of the mountain top community. my friends and i park here before going to our lcc classes before crestwood for about two hours (before they even open) we take up three parking spots three days a week. we thought this business wouldn’t mind three spots being taken. now i know that this establishment brings in massive amounts of revenue and costumers (that is sarcasm). they left notes on our car telling us to leave and go somewhere else. this may seem easy but we are unable to park at the school due to busses being there. it is hard enough being a young scholar and this is just added pressure. all my friends and i do not appreciate this treatment. i will never be shopping here. weis...

Really courteous and knowledgeable staff, neat and clean aisles, shelves , displays. Their merchandise is also in order, so we were able to read prices, labels, and sales clearly. The other customers were considerate, and respectful sharing aisles and chit chatting. The cashier who welcomed me in their check out lane, had a warm smile, and a good attitude, and didn't throw my items all willy nilly in bags, or tried to rush me along.
