National Lumber & Hardware Fajardo — Local services in Fajardo

While the staff was really friendly and offered help, this place is sort of a mess. Welding supplies and materials are spread through 3 or 4 sections... same with pretty much everything else besides paint and home goods. I know the wood and such is not in the store but I was never directed to where I could get there as I walked the whole store. A sign or something in english would help since there are signs that could give you this info but they may be in Spanish only. I was searching for specific things that aren't the easiest to find but really had a hard time figuring out where to look for anything. No router bits, no anodes, not a very good selection of power tools or hand tools for that matter. I spent a lot of time here and left with not even one item on my list. I guess that toasters sell better than woodworking tools because this is a great place to go get a...

I will not come back to this store. Three stars because I did purchase items, so obviously they had some things that I wanted or needed.

However, when I came to purchase a generator while the pilot wired Luma situation was going on with no electricity they were charging over $500 for the small generator. Which is about double than normal.

I still have to pay the price and make the purchase because they had what I needed.

Today I purchased a basic multipurpose tool and I asked the person if they had scissors or something to cut Open the plastic. The guy said no and looked at me in my face, while we are standing in a hardware store. -_-

It’s obvious that customers are not the priority here.

Earlier I was at true value and made a purchase over there, completely different experience....

This place this place is as slow as molasses candy rolling down a hill. Management attention open up another friggin register. Pay somebody maybe a part-timer to come in a few hours a day there's no reason why people should be waiting on that line for so long. That's why people walk out empty-handed because they're not willing to wait on that line Jesus Christ. I'd rather go to Home Depot at this point and I love to work with the local Merchants but Jesus Christ my time is not...
