Kevin was so easy to talk to & discuss my ideas with & help me implement and decide truly what I envisioned and nailed the placement of my Pheonix and Coqui tattoo, I got when we were on vacation (1/10/24). Booking my appt was super easy, he respi j ded to my Google message within 5 mins., and I was able to book my appt within the time frame I needed. Kevin also is a person that exudes kindness, light, compassion, and truly cares about his clients as well is a great listener too. In no way does your time spent getting your body art feel transactional; which is rare & I feel puts Kevin's establishment above the rest, since nowadays most just don't care to get to know you and don't speak to you and mostly pays attention to everything around them, but their client at hand (for what can then be a few hours depending on the size of your masterpeice) which then becomes uncomfortable and awkward. Kevin is truly a talented artist., and his shading skills are top notch! Beyond what I was expecting(better then the picture I had brought in).

This review is sad to write. I had really hoped this experience would go well since I saw the other reviews. My husband and I stopped by on a Friday and scheduled 2 tattoos for the next Monday. We looked at photos of what we wanted (very simple tattoos) and paid the deposit. We showed up at 6pm on Monday and nothing was ready other than different photos pulled from the internet. We waited until 8pm for minor drawing changes to be made. My husband's tattoo was given over to Kenny's friend who took an hour to draw just an animal's foot. At 8:30 Kenny needed to leave to take care of his family (totally fine but in light of the 2 hr wait it was getting too late). At that point there were too many red flags so we said to keep the deposit and left. I am sure he is a great artist and I am truly disappointed we don't get to show...

I highly recommend a visit. Kevin is absolutely amazing!!! I called for a same day small tattoo as I was flying home the next day. He had me in the chair that night and thrilled with the result. Every moment in the shop was a great experience!! To add to that, it was a late night appointment so hubs and I wanted to get dinner in the area prior. When I told him this he sent me the address of a restaurant he and his business partner Gilbert just opened last week. It's ten minutes away near the beach. They serve proper Mexican tacos in a great location with even better prices. 5 Medalla and two meals for $26!!! I couldn't be happier with the entire experience from dinner to tattoo to lifetime guarantees. 20/10...
