Giant Slide — Local services in Falcon Heights

One of, if not the most iconic attraction at the Minnesota State fair. Tons of fun and crazy fast, and only a few bucks a ride...can't beat that! It is a well maintained staple of the Mn fairgrounds for over 50+ years. I've been blessed enough to meet the owners and many of the crew that makes the whole operation possible. They also run the best damn fresh squeezed lemonade stand on the continent, as well as many other ventures. Best of all it is a family operation, where everyone helps out and a great small business to support. The owners are kind, authentic and a blessing to anyone that comes into contact with them. A classic, and still a staple of the State Fair is the Giant Slide. Nothing gets simpler than a burlap sack and a very large hill. The interesting quirk of the slide is it's nothing but gravity that makes it work, so unlike some of the other rides that tend to loose some of their thrill over the years, the bigger you get, the more harrowing the ride. Was my 1st time at the Minnesota State Fair and kept getting told to try the slide out as it’s a classic. It’s $4 per person and even though the line looks super intimidating and long, it actually goes quite quickly.
