For the most part we've had such great experiences at Long Neck. It's very little kid friendly with so much to do that we can spend most of the day there. The food is good. The staff has always been friendly. It is pricey, but we've prioritized it the past couple of years because we enjoy it so much. However their ticket policies are a bit extreme. No refunds, at all, and you have to purchase your tickets in advance and they are timed. My husband had a conflict arise after we already had our tickets, where he could join us a little after our ticket window (they allow a one hour entry window). He was going to have to arrive just outside that window and they said he probably couldn't come in if he showed up then. Even though we would be there all day anyway. And no refund option available, just rescheduling our tickets, but we already were meeting friends this particular day and had no availability the rest of the days they are open for the season. I was shocked and disappointed they couldn't be a little accommodating for one family member to...
Read moreSeriously outrageously expensive. I just wanted to go and get a pumpkin for my son and daughter and for all four of us it ended up being $40. I saw a snow cone stand and was like âgreat, at least there is freebies to make me feel better about spending $40â. Nope, the two snow cones (KID SIZE) were $8. Seriously? The pumpkins all looked like Gallagher had gotten a hold of them, and the two decent ones we did find looked rough still. My son with cerebral palsy also fell out of the wagon edge and was screaming (probably my fault for trying to steer it too sharply but the wood frame around it was wobbly) and then had swarms of bees all over the place. I. Am. Heated. I wouldnât ever come back to this place. I canât imagine raising prices that much and just being that greedy in general. Back home they have pumpkin patch train rides for the same price. Iâm just all around irritated right now. The staff at the counter was rude and everyone seemed irritated in general,...
Read more45 dollars for two adults and a 2 year old is a bit much. Unfortunately minutes after arriving today it got extremely windy and all the dirt and hay flying around made it miserable and our two year old wanted to leave so we grabbed pumpkins and left. I know the weather is out of their control but it wouldâve been nice had they at least offered a rain check or something to the people who had just arrived.
Also didnât like how when we were parking in the handicap spot the older man in the lot waved to stop us because he didnât think we were handicapped. He said âoh I didnât see a placard.â Except it says right on your placard it is not supposed to be displayed while driving. Had he not assumed that we couldnât possibly be handicapped he wouldâve seen my wife hang her placard as soon as she pulled...
