Realistically this probably has a bit to do with the corporate structure but there are other locations that don't seem to have this problem so it falls directly on management.
How can you call this fast food when you place an order online 20 minutes in advance, pull up to the drive through and before they ask you anything, after other cars have already blocked you in from behind and say, "It's going to be a 20-25 minute wait."?
How does that information help anyone? There's no space to pass anyone to get out of the drive through. And it definitely doesn't help me when I've already paid for my food.
So really up to a 45 minute wait. And I have no guarantee that my food hasn't been sitting in a warmer for the last 15 minutes prior to my arrival or under a heat lamp for the remaining 25 minutes. I hope health inspectors show up to this place soon because whatever they're doing can't be safe for consumers unless they're making it to order last minute.
What kind of owner allows their money making machine be run like this? If you need to spend more on labor or equipment, do it. Don't be so cheap.
If you need to find better managers, invest time and money to get good people who know what they are doing instead of just making me spend my money (which is a renewable resource) and we, as the customers, are forced to unwittingly spend our time which we can't get back.
I'll happily wait 45 minutes for food at a nice steakhouse provided I get what I pay for. Not for Taco Hell. You've gotta be kidding me. If things don't change, this place deserves to go out of business and I hope it does. Never eating here again and I hope the people reading this follow suit.
The worst part of all of this is that this review I wrote in the time it took two cars to get through the drive through will likely be ignored, none of us will hear back or get anything for our inconvenience and they will probably stay in business cheating their customers
Update: when I got the food I stopped to touch it and it was lukewarm. By the time I got home it was ice cold. I want compensation for my time, gas I had to use to stay warm, and money I spent on this sorry excuse for "food" and "service" but I'm guessing they're so cheap and so dishonest that I'll get a big fat nothing.
If I could give this location negative 5 stars and my vote would put them out of business, I feel like I would be doing a service to the community.
We vote with our dollars and if you like supporting con artists, eat here. Otherwise choose any other taco bell location on the planet...
   Read morePer Cecilia the area coach for 8 locations, she is told all employees to save all the old food to serve in the morning time. A lot of this food here is expired for more than 8 hours old . I even have hospital documentation showing that my daughter got food poisoning from the beef from this location. Still Cecilia is continuing to serve bad food to our community. KBP is aware of what's going on and still they do nothing about it that's really unfortunate for this corporation just so the community knows they control all of the Taco bells in Colorado Springs some Pueblo and some in Denver Kansas and other states. Just for instance when I was at this store we had a 4.3 rating it is down to a 2.2 that should tell you everything. I loved working for Taco Bell but when they didn't want to show back the good faith on doing what was right and stop saving food that was 3 days old and clean the place up they told me that I was overstepping. I was sent on vacation and then they let me go when I got back because I didn't want to play their games on violating health code and regulations the director and Cecilia were in on it. And I'm going to tell you guys now do not ever go to the woodland Park Taco Bell it is disgusting. That store should be condemned. If you guys plan on eating at this Taco Bell I encourage you not to as you can see clearly in the reviews people are getting tired of going walking into Taco Bell and it is disgusting I'm telling you if you think it's disgusting in the lobby you should see the back of the house breakfast dishes built up from days before because nobody in the morning crew wants to do their job. This time after a loong wait, they managed to get everything wrong, ignoring add ons that they charge money for. Wrecked taco completely impossible to pick up because how badly it was crushed, everything sloppily made so messy AF, and they couldnt even fill the sauce cups I paid extra for. I got 2 nacho cheese sides and COMBINED they were less than 1 cups worth (pic of 1 attached). Back to scam artistry.
Updated review: Must have new management, generally decent to good service and food. No real complaints anymore for the most part. Occasional messing up a small modification or forgetting sauce, but usually they get everything right.
Old review: DO NOT GO HERE This is the worst mismanagement of a fast food restaurant Ive ever seen, by far, and ive been to some god awful places. They will gauranteed get your order wrong at bare minimum. One of my "favorite" trips there, they ran out of chicken for their special, steak, and TORTILLAS. After I ordered a couple things from the 10% of the menu that was available, they managed to get those wrong and also gave me a 1/3 size power bowl served in a mexican pizza box. They also forgot the hot sauce and drink. This is one of 4 equally bad visits, im done with them now. Other examples of things they can and will mess up: cold food (not as in it went cold, but as in it was never warmed up in the first place), a "chicken strip" for thei chicken strip taco that was burned, the size of a thumb, and had no actual chicken inside (it was just overfried breading), soda that tastes like water, a solid cup of ice with 3 sips of drink, leaving out part of the order altogether, completely ignoring things added or removed from the order (including things you pay extra for), subbing items without asking, miniscule amounts of toppings/ingredients so that your eating basically empty shells or tortillas, terribly rude service (specifically from a gril with a nose ring who sighs, rolls her eyes, slams the window, etc) and more.
