Total Disaster - My Cousin's Sister Spent $1100 at Shireen Lakdawala for Her Brother's Wedding and Got Nothing

I am beyond disappointed with the service and product my cousin’s sister received from Shireen Lakdawala. She spent $1100 on custom outfits for her brother’s wedding, expecting high-quality craftsmanship and attention to detail, but what she got was a complete disaster. Here’s what went wrong:

Horrible Fit: Despite providing detailed custom measurements, the outfit didn’t fit at all. It was extremely ill-fitting, with parts too tight and others too loose, making it completely unwearable. This was for her brother’s wedding—an incredibly important occasion—and the outfit was ruined because they didn’t take the time to get the fit right.

Terrible Quality for the Price: For $1100, she expected high-quality materials and flawless workmanship. Instead, the fabric felt cheap, and the stitching was poorly done. The outfit looked nothing like the luxurious garment that was promised.

Her Little Girls Are Heartbroken: She had also ordered clothes for her daughters, who were so excited to have beautiful outfits for the wedding. Unfortunately, those outfits were equally disastrous, with poor fit and bad quality. Now, her little girls are heartbroken because they have nothing to wear for their uncle’s wedding.

No Refund or Compensation: After receiving these unwearable clothes, she contacted the company immediately. Not only did they refuse to offer a refund, but they were completely unhelpful and unresponsive. She is now out $1100 with nothing to wear for one of the most important days of her life, and her daughters are devastated as well.

Horrible Customer Service: The customer service was atrocious. They took forever to reply, showed no urgency to resolve the issue, and ultimately left her feeling ignored and disrespected.

I cannot stress enough how frustrating and heartbreaking this experience has been for her, especially given that this was supposed to be for her brother's wedding.
