Just popped in thought bacon sounded good. Bought bacon, 4 packs of brats and had an 8lb pork shoulder cut in half. The woman helping was nice enough. Not much of a selection in the cases though. Little disappointed in the respect. Smoked one of the halves and grilled 4 brats. The pork shoulder was a decent quality, not outstanding. The brats, which were pineapple, were less than average flavor. Underwhelming for sure. I had higher hopes. I spent a decent amount and was willing to spend more but had nothing to pick from. Hopefully things get better and maybe this feedback will help. One other note. The gentleman in the back that came out once, looked straight at me, didn't speak and was not very welcoming. Most people won’t know what this is unless they have it themself, but basically, meat has to be very fresh and prepared a certain way so that it doesn’t build up histamines. It can’t sit out too long. If it’s not fresh enough, my son’s eczema flares and he gets really itchy. I explained to the owner and after slaughter, he cut it and froze it right away.
