This is the second time I've done business with this company and it will be the last! First time was a whole house remodel flooring and granite and they laid the flooring the wrong direction. After speaking with the owner he said the best he could do was $500 off my bill. Absolutely refused to fix the issue unless I wanted to pay for it. I finally gave in and excepted my defeat and think it could have been avoided with some better communication. Sometimes your just tired. We are doing another smaller remodel on a home for our daughter. We decided tongive them a second chance, knowing communication was key this time. We went in and talked with a sales person who wasn't half as thorough as Laura was our first go around. He did help us find flooring but never offered much beyond that. Never mentioned transition peices or even ask any questions but did remind us to get exta boxes in just in case. My husband had said he had included an exta box for just in case but the sales associate said we can always return it. Better safe than sorry. Sonwe ordered the exta he recommended. My daughter decided she didn't like the flooring so we returned it and picked out a different floor that had to be ordered. No one mentioned we would have a restock fee of 25% for the new flooring. Original sales guy wasn't available and we haven't heqrd from him since we made the purchase over a month ago. Get it ordered, paid more, more pr square footage. Wait two weeks, floor comes in, we lay it and have 6 boxes exta! Go to return it and are told only for a restock fee. Why wasn't I informed of this?! I wouldn't have order the exta just in case boxes. Not to mention everytime you call no one is available and they will have to call you back! I had called the original sales person right after we made the purchase to discuss the cost of installation, was told he wasn't there but I could leave a message so I did. Never heard from him since the day he made the sale. Over a month ago! This is bad customer service and the owners won't make anything right. Tried a second time hoping to keep my money local but I can spend my money anywhere and it won't be at Busenbarks! And I'm not sure how they only have my one bad review because I've heard nightmare stories...
Read moreMy initial experience seemed very professional. As I was putting a deposit on half down, I caught that Matt was low on the square footage. I had already made my decision at this point, so I went ahead even though the price would be more. I picked out a single Bowl sink and when I picked it up, they gave me a double bowl. This was another 45 minute trip back to the store to return the sink. They were accommodating. When they came to measure for my counters, they added more square footage. So the estimate was not correct , don’t count on spending the estimate. That was now twice that the amount increased. They were very speedy in getting my product delivered. The product came with laser cut out for sink. The laser cut was off 3/4 of an inch. The installer had to cut on my cabinet. There are scratches on my cabinet. I don’t blame the installer. The product should not have came wrong cuts. The installer also had to cut off an inch on one end of the countertops, and a half inch on the other end. I can safely save the measurements were off. I called to ask for a discount. The man who had authority to approve it was not professional and asked me why I wanted to discount. I asked for $300 off. He gave me $150 off, which is pennies on what I was spending for our new kitchen countertops. I’m sorry to say I could not recommend Busenbark to...
Read moreI used Busenbark when we built our house 3 years ago. We had them install a Mullican brand wood flooring with a 25 year manufacture warranty. The boards have been cracking since the installation, in which they have been out several times trying to use wax sticks and filler to repair. One occasion they replaced 15 boards which needed to be cut out, the installer did not use a vacuum while cutting out the house was a mess. The installer also over cut the boards damaging adjacent boards and left them. The boards continue to crack and I have texted their repair guy Dennis with no response, we are totally disgusted with this company. They also installed quartz counter tops throughout house where the finish is spotted. I'm to the point where I feel I need to get this rectified by other means. I've had a Bruce hickory hardwood floor installed in my old house with zero issues with boards cracking. I have a humidifier on furnace and we keep temp between 68 and 74. The manufacturer has a 25 year warranty, you should be more worried about replacement than trying to cover a defective product with wax pencils and glue. You didn't say a word about your installer trashing our house with saw dust or your defective quartz counter tops. We did nothing wrong but purchase these items from you, why must customers feel guilty about wanting what they...
