The management and owner are ridiculous and pathetic! No person in management should EVER say “I just need to protect the business” and no owner should ever use the excuse “We’re working 14 hour days and we’re tired”. I have worked retail for 11 years and the customer is ALWAYS right. The staff messed up, the little clerk girl did her best to be helpful but honestly it wasn’t her job to correct the wrong. The manager cancelled my order without my permission and refused to do anything to make the situation right. The owner complained to me that she had to pay $70 dollars to cancel the order, for another $30 she could have corrected the order and had a happy customer with good things to say. They should have called me the next day when they realized there was a mistake so that we would have had ample time to correct the mistake and look at other options for Christmas but they didn’t. I went in 3 weeks later only to find out no one at the store had a clue to what was going on, how to correct the problem or really even a care about ME, the customer. In fact I asked a clerk for help, she couldn’t help me and told the manager Bob Hartwick that I needed help, he went to the back came back out and proceeded to chat with another lady, (what looked like personally chit-chat), another clerk asked if I had been helped (20 minutes later) and told her I was STILL waiting on the manager. She got the manager after he finished his lengthy conversation and he said “Oh I thought she was on the phone”. SERIOUSLY!!?? It sure seems like no one at this establishment has any concept of customer service. He was not helpful in the matter and said he would call the next day. He didn’t. I called him only to leave a message to a recording that says “we’re busy… uh… it’s the holidays… uh leave a message…”. He called me back late that night and said he didn’t know what the call was pertaining to. I enlightened him and he said “oh yea, I cancelled your order because you would have needed to pay another $75 and we can’t have it by Christmas at this point”. That is not right! I was quoted $75 at the time of purchase and that is what I paid. He then said “I need to protect the business” what happened to the customer and customer service? I said I would like to speak with the owner, 3 days later she still had not called. On the other side, I did hear from the clerk that originally took my order, however, at this point there was nothing she could do to fix the situation. That is why I asked to speak to the owner or management. I think it is pathetic that the management/owner cannot take responsibility for their staff and that they do not know how to treat paying customers. I will NOT return to this shop again and encourage others to find another store to give their...
Read moreHIGHLY recommend this place. I went to about 10 places in the Knoxville area and called others before I found this place. I was told $400-600 and about a month turnaround to get beads put in my ring for resizing. I was also told to not do the beads and to have it resized completely but come to find out it was for their own benefit and profit. I have a band with diamonds in it and thankfully they told me here that with resizing the prongs that hold the diamonds would loosen and I would lose my diamonds eventually if they opened and closed the band. They were so honest even though they could have resized and charged me more. This company did what was best for me and not just for there revenue. Not to mention they had same day service and apologized multiple times for a wait when I first came in because they were short handed that day. I could not recommend this place enough. Truly honest people and the best prices around!! She charged me $110 when I was told $400-600...
Read morePaid for something that included engraving. The engraving came out looking terrible. Spoke with them about it and was told I'd hear back. Never did and when I tried reaching out I received no answer. Bought the item after having something similar made 7 years ago with them. First one came out great. They said they had even better methods for engraving but it was also more expensive now. I was fine with that. Not fine with the terrible quality of the new piece and being ghosted.
Edited after owner response. There was no rush. You said 7 days and it came in 8 or 9. You met at an alternate location because after I had already paid you, you closed the store for a week. You didn't leave me a message to send it back to you. You said you would have to talk to your supplier and then ghosted me. You said that it was " higher quality" than when you used to do it in house. It is nice to see you respond but sadly it's to a negative review and not when I was a costumer...
