Long story short: I do not recommend this hair salon. My haircut was bad and had to be fixed by another salon. I felt like I was part of a herd of cattle being run through a chute there rather than a valued customer. Photos included and detailed story below.
I had to pay (including tip) ahead of my haircut. I was early for my appointment and Amy was running late. She offered for me to have a haircut by a colleague or wait 15 minutes after my appt time. I opted to wait as she was the one that was recommended to me. Another employee washed my hair so I was ready when Amy finished with the other client, only about 10 minutes. I showed her a photo of the haircut I wanted (long layers) and said I wanted to keep my hair long. She said "ok, no problem." She started cutting my hair but stopped multiple times during the cut to check the color on another client that was there. I didn't think much of this at the time. She finished my haircut in what I felt was a very short time. I just assumed she was experienced and efficient. She then turned my chair away from the mirror and blow dried my hair. Another client arrived and she told them she was running behind but would get to them soon. Next, she quickly removed the cape from me and said I was good to go. She immediately turned to the other client and said "we will just play musical chairs. You move up once she's out." Amy then walked away to the back of the salon. I wasn't given a mirror to look at the back of my hair and I wasn't even turned toward the large mirror to look at the front of my hair. The other client was walking up so I got out of the chair. I looked around for Amy to at least say thank you prior to leaving. I felt a little lost. Another employee saw me looking around, asked if I had already paid and confirmed I had. Amy walked out as I was leaving so I said thank you. I drove home and finally looked at my hair in detail. I originally thought the cut looked bad because my hair wasn't straightened, but even after I did that I saw the quality of the cut was horrible. The length was uneven and the layers were very choppy and not even all the way across my hair. I called and told another employee about the issue and told them I didn't have time to come back another day for a haircut for at least 3 weeks. I was offered an appointment at the end of the day. After much thought, I decided to go somewhere else to have it fixed ($65) as I just couldn't risk having more of my hair cutoff and still potentially be left with a bad haircut. I was never given an apology nor offered a refund. I am appalled at the lack of professionalism and quality of this haircut. I do not recommend this hair salon. It seems Amy overbooks and is ok with providing less than...
Read moreNo covid measure what so ever. She found it funny I was in a mask. She down played it saying her grandmother with an immuno deficiency made it through an exposure so it can't be that bad.
I asked her not to cut the long growth parts on top, she agreed, and then cut some on top and in the back.
She faded the short when I asked for flat and spent most of the session redoing the short bit because I insisted. At the end when I found mohawks she went back in a frustrated way to clean her misdeeds.
And I am filthy with hair. Not a single brush or spray once. She took a used towel and mused up my hair into a mop that I had to fix before I was sent out of the chair.
In all it was...

I'm probably the salon is good for older people but for younger generations and for the hair color I really don't recommend my personal opinion everybody has their own. I did show her the picture that I want and I said I want a very light I don't wanna have a chunky streaks on my hair and that's what I ended up with streaks. I paid anyways and I tipped her good and I walked away but I will...
