We are new to this area and this was our first time shopping at this store. I will definitely be back. Loved how bright it was, loved the selection, and prices overall seemed comparible to other places we've shopped since moving here. My disappointment was in friendliness of staff. Not so much as a hello from the sales associate who checked us out or a thank you after we paid. In my mind customer service is a deal-breaker. I would pay a higher price at a store that has a welcoming, fun, energetic.etc staff. We all have bad days, off days, so on, therefore I will not judge my visit on this one time. Where else can you find an adult that will not only be available to select and cut your meat, but also employees who stock, understand quality and also the exact location of every item in the store? How about a grocery store that invests continually in the community schools, sports, YMCA, nonprofit agencies and even church groups. I live on a limited income and receive EBT ( food stamps) and all but 1 time I was made to feel a lesser person by a couple of the more experienced(older) cashiers. I truly felt like I was wasting their time and would have loved to have shared my personal story with them in hopes of educating them on not judging others until they have walked in their shoes. I hope they appreciate how lucky they are to not have to experience people like them...
