7-6-25 Wow, this place is great! Beautiful scenery, well kept course with nice employees and decent prices. My 1st time here and we played the white course and its got a little bit of everything. Many sand traps and I found my way into enough but its a challenging, fun course and I cant wait to get back and play the Blue course. Thank you for the great day of golf and I look forward to another visit.

Played on the Blue Course this weekend. While it was a little challenging, the course conditions weren’t what we expected. Bunkers had two different types of sand. Some fairway were soaked and it hadn’t rained recently, others were bone dry and burnt out. I would like to play the course in the middle of the season to see what changes. Would love to come back.

I love this golf course and they have a Driving Range!! I was looking for a space nearby, and I found this place very convenient. Costs only $11 for 75 balls and there you go! I could spend hours the few times I went there! Ambient space for a quick drink and eat, and everything you need is available inside! I will get back there soon!

I’ve been a member since 2021. Today was the breaking point for me. First off, this is the second week in a row I’ve left the course with a bad taste in my mouth but let’s focus on what happened today. Today, we had 2 groups in front of us with unbearable pace. So bad it got the point where I called the Marshall because three people were walking and using one bag. But the crazy part was they weren’t the reason it was slow. A group of 4 in carts managed to stop up the course to the point where 2 groups were sat waiting for them to finish on the 8th green a (par 3). You’re probably wondering but wait you called the Marshall so they came. They came and talked to them and we’re in just as much shock as I was when I saw them using one bag for three people yet he went to talk to them and the pace didn’t increase whatsoever. Have in mind I’ve been told I wasn’t allowed on the course having one of my buddies in the same cart as me using my clubs but these 3 clueless idiots who were playing from the front tees who couldn’t get it off the tee box were more then allowed. Just weird way to treat a loyal member of three years. But yeah I’m done with this course and not renewing my membership or booking tee times for the group anymore out there. You finally fixed your bunkers and then gave up on marshaling the course sad. But yeah for any customers getting to the bottom of this. Don’t goto the Penn state course there continued mismanagement of timing ruins your day. I played a 3 hour round and skipped from the final blue course hole to the white course to just get 9 in before it was dark. If your looking for reasonable priced courses that don’t have golfers trashing the course and slowing the entire pace of everyone up try, skytop, Moutainview, or 30 ish mins away sunset golf club. All are cheaper and easier to book tee times with less incompetence around the course. It’s sad to see the demise of such a fantastic 36 holes that I even photographed for the course. But hey screw the actual members and people who want to...

I have never played a course where I hit a tee shot 10 feet from the hole on a par 3 and it took 15 minutes to find the ball because of the ridiculously high and thick 1st cut of rough. Fairways are garbage as well with 2.5 inch grass. You would think that with as much money as Penn State brings in they would take better care of the course, but they dont.. Lastly, if you need something to eat after 5 pm, don't expect to get anything and if you don't know the course very well you will get lost because they pull all of the signs at 4. Not at all worth...

Beautiful course with a nice layout. However the bunkers were EMBARRASINGLY BAD, filled with HUGE rocks, and the greens were ridiculously fast. Unless a course is hosting a PGA event, there is NO NEED for them to be that fast. Putting from above the hole it was either hit the flagstick or else go 10 (or more) feet past. I've never had more 3-putts in my life, and I am a single-digit handicap. GRAVITY is undefeated, so it is unfair to ask players to defy it. Also the starter/cart guy was...
