My dad recently passed away. He had a bracelet that he never took off and loved. We bought it 20 years ago together on a family trip to California. I wanted to size the bracelet down to fit me but it is Native American Sterling Silver and not many jewelers would work on it. I hunted for months until I came across Scott and Sons website. I read all the reviews and loved the description of Alex, their in house jeweler. I called and they were so nice. Alex spoke on the phone with my husband several times about the bracelet. We made the 2.5 hour trip for Alex to size my dad’s bracelet. Alex was wonderful! Very sweet and took his time with me. Complete Fail at Customer Service! I found it hard to even give them one star. I had two stud pearl earrings that needed reattaching to the post. They told me one of the post was crushed and would need a new one. I keep trying to ask the lady what would the charge be to simply fix the other one and she just kept telling me $60, not listening to what I wanted. Then when I picked them up it was a repeat of the phone conversation. Even going as far as to tell me I misunderstood 😳 yet didn’t make any offer to figure out what I needed. Sadly I will never shop there again. But all they had to do was offer to reattach the good one and appologize for any misunderstanding and I would have left satisfied.
