Happened upon this Ace while shopping for some Christmas decor. From the moment we parked, I saw someone from the staff helping a woman load a box into the bed of her truck. We were greeted when we walked in. Wandered a little and were asked by a staff member if we needed help. I'm from a small town in Indiana and we had a really small Ace hardware there. I was transported back to that hardware store where everyone knows each other. I felt so welcome and everyone was so warm. I purchased the wrong Garland because I was not paying attention and when I called to see if I could exchange it for the right one, a woman named Jo was so kind and understanding. It was the fastest exchange ever! And not to mention, when I parked the second time, there was a young man from Ace helping an elderly man figure out what was wrong with what looked like a pressure washer. This place is so helpful! Read moreWent to Ace for a Father's Day sale 6/11/17 picked out a few sale items. One item I wanted, an air compressor was out of stock due to the sale (this took 15 minutes to figure out). I asked to order it and I would have it picked up, which took another 10 minutes to figure out. Finally we have everything rung up but the anount doesn't look right. Cashier assures me everything is correct, but after looking at the receipt she doesn't ring up my shop vac. After spending almost 30 minutes at the check out counter, I decide to save them the trouble of having me as customer and return everything. I explained the situation the the Manager on duty, Jerry. Jerry says "what do you want me to do about it?" And "sorry you feel that way". Meanwhile they couldn't figure out how to process my return and had to mix cash and a return on my credit card.
