Wescraft RV & Truck claims to be customer oriented and concerned with the happiness and satisfaction of their customers, with “Qaulity” work and craftsmanship. However my personal experience has shown me quite the opposite. The have shown me that they’re only concerned with pushing through sub-standard jobs, doing only what they think needs to be done regardless of what they say the job takes, what is on the work order or what the customer requests. My truck was there for a minor collision repair to the right front fender. I am a very particular type of person and was VERY clear with them as to what I expected for what I was paying for. I asked many questions and gave them a list of “extras” I wanted done. They assured me that for the quote I had received I would have all that I expected. When I arrived to pick up my “finished” truck I was very, very disappointed. From 100 feet or so away I could tell the repair was not done to the quality I was “guaranteed” or expected. The fender was still noticeably crooked and misshapen. Several of the things on my list were not done along with parts of the repaint that were either not done or done very poorly. At this time we discussed all of these issues and they acknowledged they all needed done. The truck was left there for an additional week. They were able to “fix” about ½ of the issues. I couldn’t afford to be without my truck any longer as I am self-employed. At this point I was 4 additional days out of work. I had to bring the truck back 3 additional times ranging from 2 – 4 days each for an additional 9 missed days off work. The last time it was there to “finally” get the passenger fender repaired correctly. I, again, made it very clear what was expected and once again they assured me it would be “right” this time. When I received the truck it looked pretty good. Within a few days I noticed that to achieve what I expected they bent my brand new 18” bumper on the opposite side to make things “match”. Over the next four months more and more issues arose with their work on all but one panel on the truck, ranging from shadows in the paint showing up to several cracks in the clear coat on the right front fender, to two of their repairs on that same fender failing. I went to their facility and showed them the problems. Clay said he would get with Mike and get back to me. Three weeks later I hadn’t heard anything from them. I left several messages with no calls back. On week four I caught Clay on the phone. He spoke with me. He said they wanted to expedite this in a three day time frame and I explained to him that expediting things seemed to be a big part of the problem. I asked if this wasn’t my truck how long would he tell someone else. He said a five day week not the three days. I asked, “Ok, how about you rent me a truck and take whatever time you actually need?” He then told me they were about to enter a meeting and would call me back. A week later the general manager called me. He was rude, condescending, spoke over me and around a lot of what I was trying to say or ask. He said that rentals are not part of their “warranty” and that they would work over a weekend to “help me out”. As a whole my experience/ordeal is the most unprofessional, draining and NOT customer satisfaction experience I think I’ve ever had. The long and short of it…. Unless you want a substandard, drawn out, job done,...
Read moreWe brought our 2005 Alpha in to have the door repaired. The customer service was outstanding. I was do distracted by their customer service that I took everything else at face value. My husband discovered the key would not open the door so they said that the new door came with a new lock BUT they ran around and found the old lock and installed it. Then we noticed that there was no new screen door and they were supposed to install a new screen with the new door and the frame was still bent. They asked us to come back the next week and they would make some change in the price. The next week we went to pick it up and discovered a lot of the same problems existed. The service came out and fiddled around with it. Finally they confessed that the new door they ordered was not the correct size so they just put on some new skin for the door. Since there was no new door installed, there was no new screen door either. The frame was never worked on, we later discoveted. This was several months ago and we had just taken it back to storage.. We finally had the opportunity to take the trailer out just recently and have discovered the the door does not seal, the lock is a bit tricky, the screen door was salvageable and my husband works on it a lot trying to fix it. He had to make adjustments to the screen door because it was hanging up and way out of alignment, remounting the lock for the screen door handle so that the door and screen door move in tandem. . Because he had to drill, this leaves old screen door holes in plain sight and unsightly. Had to completely reseal the door. The frame is still bent and we cannot do anything to straighten it out but it is functional . Also, in the propane area, the hold down rod and connecting screw were missing and one of our three tanks were empty. BUT the customer service was great. I filled out all the comnent card with a great review, BUT I was so wrong, the work was shoddy and we did not get the results we were expecting or promised from a company that was recommended highly by Camper World. From a very...
Read moreI am not sure how to emphasize ENOUGH to anyone who reads this and is in search of getting work done on your RV or Truck. I cannot remember when I had such an extraordinary and professional experience doing business with anyone. Wescraft is a highly professional, competent company that produces the highest quality service. My Itasca Suncruiser had suffered through some significant paint damage on the back, parts of the driver side and front end. The gray paint had lost it's clearcoat and the gray was fading badly. My wife and I decided to try and bring this coach back to pristine condition, as the the rest of it was as nice as you could expect. Randy and Jason worked with us on price as it was an extensive paint restore. That, in and of itself, was incredibly impressive. We were surprised that in less than 2 weeks we received a call that it was finished. Jason took us out to our Class A, walked through with us and even did some extra paint work that was not on the original bid. The quality of the prep and finish work was FIRST CLASS. The communication and respect they gave us as customers made me realize that honest companies, honest people DO exist in business still. If you live anywhere in Western Washington and beyond, I would HIGHLY recommend you consider Wescraft for any RV work. Please feel free to contact me with any questions you may have. I would be happy to support this company in any way. They are a business built to serve the customer. I highly...
