My overall experience at the John Deere dealer, AgPro of Flemingsburg, has been positive. I purchased my riding lawnmower from them about four or five years ago. I have never had it serviced in that time, and yes, I should have, but I just didn’t. So a couple of weeks ago it died, as to be expected, because it really did need serviced. I was expecting the bill to be between $300 and $500 because as I said, it had not been serviced in the entire time that I had it. It had 49 hours of mowing time on it, no I really don’t mow a lot, and for the past year I have had to jump the battery every time I used it. I knew the oil needed changed, I knew the blades needed replaced and a new battery. The poor girl was just in need of some attention. When I spoke to the person in the service department, they told me they would keep me informed about what the total was going to be before they put a bunch of money into it. Nobody ever called me and discussed a price of anything that was being put on it or any of the work that was being done. So that was a little bit of an issue. When I called to find out about the mower, I was informed that it was ready to go and it was going to cost $901.88 for the service!!!! I was sick! I told them I did not authorize them to charge me for a new mower! After speaking with the service manager, he did a little bit of work on the price and made the repairs and service more easy for me to swallow. They delivered it back to my house yesterday , and it works perfectly! I am so pleased with the work they did, and basically they gave me back almost a new mower!! It is all cleaned up, it runs great, it did a perfect job on my yard. I am giving them four stars because I still think the price is a bit steep to have a mower worked on there, but I am pleased with the work they did. I’d rather have Joe Biden watch my kids than buy something from these guys. They don’t stand behind the product they sell. They stand behind you as you walkout laughing thinking we got him. I bought a tractor from this dealership and all went well until the lift stopped working with 360hrs on it. They told me it would be $700 to repair but ended up being $3,600. By the way it was a known defect but wasn't covered under warranty. Got the tractor back and still not working. They currently have had my tractor for 2 weeks now and haven't even looked at it. What a joke...
