El Mixteco Mexican Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Flemingsburg

There have been many restaurants that have been in that building but didn't last more than six months at the most. El Mixteco won't be in that group and I say that with the upmost of confidence. The service was amazing and the salsa and guacamole was unbelievable. The waiter even brought more chips and salsa when we were done with the first round. Very nice and polite staff that are right on top of things. The portions are huge and the food was hot and full of flavor. Prices are more than fair too. If you leave there hungry then it's your own fault. Customers were in and out all the time we were there. People were picking up call in orders too. It's the finest Mexican restaurant in the area. Enjoyed the queso cheese dip with our chips. It tasted similar to a Monterey jack cheese with some peppers. (pepper jack)

I'll definitely not have to go out of town for top tier authentic Mexican.

The menu is extensive. And they offer all drinks in pitchers. 5 stars on the drinks. Traditional mexican.

Get one. I can say that, because this is my recommendation.

I LOVE this place. I've had taco salad in Mexican Restaurants all over the world, and El Mixteco Restaurant in Flemingsburg, Kentucky is the BEST EVER! My hubby loved his Chimichanga. The server was very professional and attentive. It's definitely a keeper! And worth visiting from afar! I've read many reviews, and my review seems so inadequate.
