We have quite a few animals (6 cats & 2 dogs) from ages 14/15 down to 2 years old, so we deal with everything from old age (and the associated hyperthyroid/arthritis/general malaise of getting older) to routine vaccinations for healthy younger animals. Literally everyone at Fleming Co. Animal Hospital is fantastic. We've worked with Dr. Billy, Dr. Jones, and Dr. Pinkston - all are absolutely excellent. And, we can't speak highly enough of the vet techs and the rest of the staff. They are caring, they take time to explain to us what is going on, they give us options in scenarios where they are appropriate, and they even allow us to bring in multiple animals at a time (often a dog+cat who are almost-monthly customers) which is a huge time saver and de-stessor for both us and the animals. Read moreDO NOT TAKE YOUR PETS TO THIS SLAUGHTER HOUSE!!!! Took our dog Monday morning to have a common procedure of getting fixed at the Fleming County Animal hospital. She hasn't felt the best yesterday didn't act like herself at all. Contacted the Fleming County Animal Hospital to let them know we wanted them to take a look at her to check her out. They diagnosed her with overdoing herself and gave her pain meds and nausea medicine to cure her of her pain and discomfort. 3 hours later she passed away in our home and had to watch our kids cry themselves to sleep over losing their best friend. The UNREMORSEFUL vet offered to pay 80 dollars for an autopsy as their solution to the death of our fur baby as that is all they said they could do for us!!! Please don't let your pet or family be a victim to them, We don't wanna see anyone have to go thru the pain our family has been thru so far thru the passing...
Read moreWe took our puppy Buddy there because he had a mass on his side and it was a hematoma so we take him home that day and return on Monday for surgery. We get a call saying he won't stop bleeding so I tell them do whatever they can to get it to stop. We return later that day to pick him up and they walk him out and he starts to bleed again but she said the dressing is tight enough and it should stop bleeding. So we took him home still bleeding and soon as I layed him down in the house he had passed. So therefore those so called vets do not need a license to...
