If you're having a real emergency go to a different hospital then Fleming co. Cause last night we took our two year old who when we took his temp he had a fever of 105.4 when we took it and I panicked we signed in and waiting there was 4 people that came in behind us as we are trying to cool him down and they was all seen before us when we asked how long it would be we was told they only had room for emergency cases and I said is a temp of almost 106 not an emergency for a 2 year old? And she rolled her eyes at me and bobbed her head around on her shoulder like i cussed her out or something we all kept asking when there would be a room available for our toddler tension was high but we did not appreciate being yelled at by not only the rude receptionists to the point my husbands ex wife (if you knew our relationship you would know this is a big deal for us) stepped up behind me to help but also the EMT who was just standing back there talking to the doctors and nurses started screaming us at saying we was harassing her for asking when a room would be available. Honestly I'm disappointed in the health care professionals at Fleming co. We left and took him to maysville and we was seen withing 5 minutes of arrival. Fleming co used to be a good hospital one I preferd to go to but this is the second time we have been and had to just leave cause they couldn't be bothered to help us. The first time my husband was in pain and was throwing up which we thought could be his gallbladder, they didn't even have the equipment to help. And just wanted us to sit there. Y'all need to do better. You would have better luck going to the vet to diagnose you then going to Fleming...
Read moreI received ER treatment. If thats what you could call it. Left with a heart rate of 120, BP of 179/82. I was suffering when I came in and suffering when I left. The ER doctor Patel, Ankit didn't seem to care much. The nurse blew my IV and knew she blew it but still ran the bag and medicine through anyway which formed a baseball sized knot on my arm and she seemed either extremely tired and disinterested or she's on medicine that makes her disassociate. On the bright side. They were fast. I was in and out in an hour. Bad thing is I paid gas to drive there and will pay the copay for being treated and the hospital will bill my insurance for an IV bag I never finished and medicine that wasn't properly administered. It was a useless trip. If it had been a weekday I'd have just seen my doctor but it was a Saturday and I am miserable. Now I'm stuck with either waiting till Monday or going to another hospital and I'm miserable enough to go to a different hospital but dreading the wait. Idk whats going on in the ER . Although fast is good, sometimes it's really really dangerous. I don't think I nor my insurance should be billed because the treatment was botched and I'm no better now than when I got there. You got 2 stars simply because I'm generous. Edit: I should have said originally don't bother with the auto-generated sack of lies. The Hospital was ranked 3 before I got here for a reason. It'll stay that way until it goes bankrupt or gets bought by someone that actually runs it properly. Eventually capitalizing on human suffering and treating them horribly while doing so catches up...
