I visited the Taco Bell located in Flemingsburg, KY, on March 5th, 2025, around 7:30 PM, and I feel compelled to write this complaint due to the extremely inappropriate and concerning behavior displayed by the General Manager, Angela (also referred to as A-Jay by employees).
During my entire visit, Angela exhibited unprofessional and hostile behavior. She continuously yelled at employees, threw items, and treated her staff with visible disrespect. One incident particularly stood out: Angela handed food to a young man working the drive-through window without providing any instructions. When he mistakenly handed the food out the window instead of placing it on the counter (due to her lack of communication), she began yelling and throwing things at him, causing unnecessary embarrassment and stress for the employee.
Additionally, when my food was remade and placed in a bag, I politely requested a tray at the counter. Angela responded by rolling her eyes, refused to directly assist me, and instead rudely instructed the same young man to “come take care” of me, despite being in immediate proximity to assist me herself.
Throughout my meal, Angela continued her verbal abuse toward staff, slamming and throwing objects, creating a highly uncomfortable and toxic atmosphere. The young man working the drive-through window was exceptionally professional and repeatedly apologized to me for her behavior, even attempting to justify it by saying she was “a little stressed.” However, stress does not justify such hostile behavior.
This experience was extremely unsettling and disappointing. Employees should not have to endure this type of treatment in any workplace, nor should customers witness such unprofessional conduct from management. Due to Angela’s unacceptable behavior, I cannot recommend this establishment to others and hope that appropriate action is taken to address this...
Read moreI was shorted food and a drink earlier today so I called the store. I spoke to a very nice lady, Veronica, who told me they would replace the things I was shorted and would give me a free combo. I told her I would not be able to get there until later that evening so she took my name and said to tell them I talked to her. Once I get back to the store a little after 9pm the manger on shift, Emily, refused to give me the free combo and acted as if I was lying about the situation. She said she could only give me 2 tacos which made no sense. And then went on to say there was nothing saying I was to get the free combo. She was not helpful at all and she had the young lady who was running the window relaying the messages at first which I feel was frustrating to the that person and myself. Read moreI gave this place two chances before I wrote my review. I know everyone can have an off day. First day went in at 8 AM and they said they were shortstaffed in Clinton sell anything including a single cup of coffee that I asked for. Then I go get coffee the ladies throw the cups on the counter, said coffee you have to brew it three times just to get one cup. What’s upset that I even ordered coffees and was extremely rude I asked for extra sauce and she handed me 2 packets for my entire order. Her co worker was visibly upset as well.
