I recently brought in my iPhone 12 pro max for a screen repair. The price was $300 which seemed reasonable. The first screen they put in lasted about 3 days before it started coming on by itself and causing random inputs when the screen wasn't being touched. When I returned to the store they replaced the screen for free. The second screen they placed in my phone started doing the same thing after 8 days, but not as often or as bad as the first screen so I decided it wasn't that bad I could deal with it. Last night I picked up the phone and noticed the edge of the otterbox it was in was broken around the edge of the screen and the piece that had broken was still laying on the screen. Along the left edge the screen had popped out with enough force to break the plastic part of the case that holds it in. I thought u would pop the screen back inside the case and return to the store today as they were about to close. I pushed the screen back in and when I did it apparently cracked the internal screen. I called the store as soon as it happened and explained what happened and he told me to bring it in today. When I brought it I. This evening he told me I was lying and had dropped the phone and there was nothing he could do about it. When I pointed out the broken case and showed him what the phone was doing he insisted that this was impossible. I'm pretty sure that if the phone was dropped with enough force to break the case and internal screen the external screen would be cracked also. I showed him where the screen was separating from the phone while we were standing there and he still told me I was wrong. Subpar service along with subpar replacement parts. Save your money and have apple or Samsung replace your parts with genuine OEM parts. I called apple and because I let an unauthorized repair shop work on my iPhone they might not replace the screen even though I am paying for it. Do not take your phone or other electronic products here for repair. I suppose if you're a gambler and feel like gambling your phone on a repair here you might get lucky, but two repair attempts and two failures is not good...
Read moreMy iPhone 11 Pro Max went dark on a Wednesday morning. I had no idea what was wrong. It still rang, I could use the truck Bluetooth and my ear buds, just couldn’t see ANYTHING. IT WAS DARK! Went to the AT&T store in Florence, they were super helpful in knowing what the problem was , but couldn’t do much b/c I had insurance and would have to go through Apple and was warned it could take MONTHS to simply change the screen!! No way could I go months without being able to see my screen. Was told about several places in the area that could fix it, but I could sense the AT&T guy was telling me to go to Fix n Go. So glad I did! The man was so nice and so quick and did a WONDERFUL job. It’s a little pricey (not sure what the other places cost), but I have seen shotty work before when replacing screens. It was worth it to get it back, done correctly in a little under 20 min! Plus, like I said, the guy was so nice, that always helps when dealing with...
Read moreIt’s very disappointing! I took a perfectly working iPhone 14 Pro Max with a broken back glass to them for replacement. It was a Christmas present for my son! So Christmas morning we set up his phone and notice the battery is not functioning properly and the buttons aren’t functioning correctly either… My husband goes down there to talk to the guy and his rude and tells my husband he didn’t break it!! (Explain to me how the phone was absolutely fine other than the back glass and now the battery is shot and none of the buttons work) YOU BROKE THE PHONE AND REFUSE TO TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR IT!!! It’s unbelievable how people can treat people this way and get...
