I have been taking TaeKwonDo for a couple of months now. If I was ever asked about any regrets in my lifetime, taking this joyous and amazing journey certainly isn’t one.
I can honestly say I’ve found a peers and practice for myself where I truly feel at home, and I believe I’m making good friends along the way, too. Martial arts is really a good way to boost confidence, which you will certainly feel after taking these classes a while. It also provides a great workout, amongst learning self defense. The teachers are very nice and extremely helpful, and no one’s potential is casted doubts nor looked down upon.
I was skeptical about which discipline sounded right for me, but the more and more I dug into the attributes and benefits of TaeKwonDo, the more confident and comfortable I felt like this was the discipline for me. Master Graham is very good with kids of all ages, and he’s equally helpful with adults. He is also very kind and patient, and generally just a very down to earth kind of guy that’s fun to learn from him and also just getting to know. Being taught from and bonding with him and the other teachers has been a wonderful privilege that I will never take for granted.
I can’t wait to see what the future holds for me and my journey, the people, and the dojo itself. I haven’t found anything I’ve been this passionate...
