North Fort Myers Recreation Center — Local services in Florida

I'd like to know why every time we go in, as paying members of the rec center, we are treated so incredibly rudely ? You can't ask one question to the manager or his sour pussed sidekick without getting a snippy, short, useless response. We asked if the TVs could be fixed ..manager rudely snipped " NO it will cost 30k ..." nothing more, no explanation. We've inquired about basic things every gym in the world has, like a squat rack only to be met with obnoxious responses and childish replies. Asked about the disc golf met with a eye roll. What is the problem here?

Was the manager a former prison guard? The woman at the front reminds us of Dolores Umbridge from Harry Potter, just that sassy , snotty attitude. It shouldn't be a big deal to ask questions, no one is making accusations. Its like we are offending them every time we inquire about anything...why? Its like an US vs. THEM attitude in there. How are we offending by just asking questions about a community center we pay to belong to?

Today my (autistic) husband and son tried to pay their monthly membership only to be argued with over the date it renewed. Is that a hard question? Did you need to be snotty? EVERY TIME they go in they are met with this behavior. DONT WORK WITH PEOPLE if you can't handle the public. Simple questions, don't need the attitude.

The staff obviously takes direction from the top, but I'm curious to know WHO in the world would HIRE such an obnoxious manager to run a community center? Do they think everyone is a criminal, or homeless? Do they feel superior to members of the community.. because they sure act like it. Why? I am really disagree with the staff being so rude disrespectful and having a low compassion for me and my situation. Today I was treated as trash there, and The manager had the guts to treated me with "the rangers" when I was exit the building to go to an doctor appointment because I am not feeling well. They denied to let me take my companion dog with me inside because only services dogs are allowed to go in to the showers, I left him tide with a rope from his collars to my door's car because I can't left him inside of my car. I saw different homeless people left their dogs tied outside too, and I never heard they call the attention to them, I have a year and more going there to shower, because they allow homeless people to do it, and I never had an incident, but today was so dissappinted and annoying to be confronted in that repugnant way, and also the new front desk guy is so disrespectful laughing every time I was talking. It's shocking that this, which is a recreational center, has such rude and hateful people at the reception desk with the people who go there. Today my son went for a while to distract himself and the lady at the reception desk did things on purpose by taking him off the court 30 minutes before closing time and the whole time this same lady is like this with the people who go. My son respectfully complained to a gentleman who was there and all they did was laugh. They should pay more attention to the treatment of the people who attend. I understand that there are rules, but if you are not violating the rules, you do not have to be rude to the people...
