Newest mini golf course in the resort community of Baldwin County, opened this summer across from the OWA entertainment district on CR20 east. Upon entering the facility, our small group received smiles & a warm welcome from the attendants. The upbeat attitude of the staff added to the fun-filled atmosphere of the establishment. Inside you will find an arcade room to the right -- a HUGE screen for the game Space Invaders will mesmerize you at entry! The arcade room is slightly on the small side, but it is stocked with a wide variety of games, appealing to players of all ages. Prizes are chosen back in the main room at the cashier's station, where you will also find free popcorn and a large tabletop game of checkers for guests to utilize as desired.
Our attendant was exceptionally friendly and knowledgeable - not only about the course itself but also about the recent fundraising event held at Creekside with donations benefiting a local project constructing a baseball park specially designed with handicapped players in mind. When we revealed our group consisted of local residents, the attendant's grin grew wider & she informed us of a loyalty program Creekside is offering to residents of our community. We got our rewards card and will definitely be putting it to good use! Thank you for appreciating your community -- we are in this together!
The course is easily navigated, with clear signage and pathways to direct the flow. Watch out for a few trick holes, and think geometry & strategy when lining up those shots! On the front course, don't be afraid to put one in the water (just saying); it took us a minute to understand the architecture of this particular hole. If your ball enters the streams unintentionally, look to the nearest bridge & you may be lucky enough to find a long-handled net, perfect for rescuing stray balls from the rocky, blue currents. This tool is a hidden gem bestowed upon us pirates by the Creekside natives - use it wisely & with respect, please, so others may utilize it's saving grace in the future as well.
Many brown trash receptacles (with lids) are placed along the pathways of the course for convenient disposal of those empty bags from our free snack of popcorn. A couple nice features for guest courtesy found at the start of each hole are both found upon the wooden stump marker which bears the hole's number: the first is a clip, attached to the top of the stump, for securing the scorecard; the second is a double hook, screwed into the side of the stump, which can hold a lady's handbag while she's putting....or it can hold the putter, if flipped upside-down, of the person recording the strokes upon the score card.
The holes are well lit after the sun goes down, and we surprisingly had zero issues with any pesky flying insects intruding into our fun time. There are plenty of benches scattered along the walkways if you fancy a rest, which can be a welcome respite in the extremely humid climate of this coastal area. It took almost an hour to finish the 18 holes on the front course.
Our small adult group enjoyed ourselves immensely - we paused inside the cave for a photo op using the turquoise waterfall as a back drop. Thank you, Creekside, for an entertaining evening and welcome to the neighborhood!

Read moreWe are in town on vacation with our family of six. We chose this place because the website said it was ADA accessible, and we have a child in a wheelchair who likes to play. The courses are nice and well maintained, and there were some good challenging holes. However, the courses are definitely not wheelchair accessible. We got through about four holes, then there were stairs everywhere, so our son could no longer play with us. We had paid for the double courses, and it started to rain and get very windy and cold, so the rest of us stopped after the first course. We tried to get our money back for the other 18 holes, but we're told there were no refunds, only a raincheck to come back and play the second course on another day. We only have one day left to come back before we leave, since they are closed on Mondays, and our son will still not be able to play if we do come back, so ended up being a pretty expensive night for only 18 holes in the rain. Overall, nice courses, but disregard the ADA accessible claim on the website if you are in a wheelchair, because it definitely won't...
Read moreHonestly the absolute worst time I’ve ever had at mini golf. The course is made in a manner that it’s nearly impossible to keep the ball on the course, the course is nowhere close to being stroller friendly, you have to walk on the greens to advance to the next hole most of the time, one hole told you to hit your ball into the water and then the current wasn’t even strong enough to push the ball downstream, and the bits of sidewalk between holes have a lot of drop offs that are prime locations for somebody to roll an ankle. The course also felt pretty uninspired in terms of design. The course was clean and had nice decorations but most holes were pretty boring.
The arcade also had a couple of machines that took credits from our game cards and didn’t work. Will not come back and would advise others...
