I attended a 4D movie event. The movie was age restricted which made it very nice no noise from screaming children. Tickets were will call only. I had zero problems picking up the tickets. Chairs were semi-spacious what you would expect from a normal movie theater basically. I have an issue where I have to wear a medical device on my right leg. The clearance between my seat and my leg caused a problem ....it applied continuous pressure no matter what angle I sat at on my knee for the entire movie. If you have a leg issue you may want to think about this and sit on an end seat. The only thing that was a double-edged sword both good and bad was they were closing the concession stand at the very beginning of the movie ...that can go both ways as far as help or hurt. If you want something to drink or popcorn and you're going to drink more than the amount that you get in the cup ,you're going to have to make two purchases right off the bat That's not good. The other side of this is no one got up during the movie to go get something from the concession stand... so nothing interfered and distracted as far as concessions. The movie theater was at a good angle as far as viewing. Do not expect the movie to start on time it was almost a 20-minute delay in starting 😑.. tickets with taxes and the other fees that are tacked on was a total of $8. The $5 ticket was $8 by internet I do not know what it would have cost to purchase it person. I may be wrong but I believe the seating capacity is 450 so if it's an event that you really want to see I recommend you purchasing early. The 4D event consisted of fog feathers rubber snake screaming in person and occasionally a character would run across the front or up the aisle matching the events on the movie screen. Would I recommend it Yes just keep in mind even though you're in a theater the screen in my opinion was...
Read moreI am writing a review of last night’s performance at the “Christian Comedy Festival”. The first comedian was good and had both my husband and I laughing a lot. However, we have a few things to say about the headliner. He had some funny moments as well, but when he attacked my faith, Catholicism, he went too far. It is obvious to us that he is very ignorant in what our faith teaches and for someone who had a preacher for a father, I would have to say his father didn’t do a very good job. Our faith was started by Jesus Christ Himself and if he really knew the Bible, as he claimed he did, he would have understood the meaning behind the priest giving a special Latin Blessing at the beginning of Mass. He would have known that Jesus gave his apostles the power to heal and forgive sins. So, that it is not just a little black box to tell secrets, but a very reverent way to ask God’s forgiveness as Jesus as requested us to do. Then when he made fun of the Last Supper and the Holy Eucharist, that was it. We were two seconds away from walking out. My husband said if he says one more thing, we are out of here. Look, we can laugh at many things and if it’s done tactfully, we CAN laugh at some things In our Faith, but he did not do that. In our opinion, this comedian had an ax to grind or A vendetta against our church and he was using this platform to get it done. Unfortunately, we will not recommend any more of these “So Called” Christian Comedy Festivals at your venue. And if you are going to allow the comedians to bash our faith, then why not call it exactly what it is? It’s the Protestant Comedy Festival and that way you will not have to tolerate any Catholics in...
Read moreBeautiful theater! I visited yesterday with a group of friends for "Still Standing" an Elton John Tribute. I can't remember when we had more fun. The tribute band was terrific and I hope they return. Every song was fantastic and so professionally performed. Can't wait for another reason to visit the OWA Theater, it's extremely professional staff and...
