I purchased 2 recliners and a sofa. I thought I was getting a deal, but little did I know. First they told me one total and when I went to pay the total changed and it was more. That was the first thing wrong. Then they said it would take 3 weeks for the furniture to be completed. Well the sofa was done and ready for delivery in 3 days, don't know how if it had to be made. I told them I would wait for delivery till the recliners there done. Well 3 weeks later the recliners were done. I took delivery and first off the sofa had black dirty hand prints on it and one of the recliners was fine, but the other recliner looked like whom ever made it didn't know how to sew or make this chair. The delivery guy took pic's and called the store. The store said leave it and they will send a new sofa and find out what to do about the one recliner. They left. 2 day's later they were delivering a new sofa. I'm still thinking how are these sofa's being made so quickly when they said it would take 3 week's to be made. Anyway I was taking delivery of a new sofa which was dirtier then the first one. Keep in mind when I was picking out the fabric I chose a stain proof fabric, which we all know there is no such thing. So, however I didn't take delivery of that sofa. Another week went by with not much said about newly delivered item's. Finally I did they told me they needed to pick up the furniture because the sales reps for the furniture manufacturer were coming today. So they came and picked it up. A few hour's later I text and call the store to find out what was the verdict on what they were going to do. They told me the vendor's just left and fixed the problems. For me to come in to the store and inspect the furniture and decide whether or not the thought it was good. Well the sofa stain was still there and said that's all that was going to be done about that. As for the recliners, I was told as from as they were concerned the recliners were done acceptable according to industry standards, and that they were not going to do anything different to fix them. They told me pretty much take it or leave it. So I chose to leave them. They did give me my money back in full. Any furniture trying to pass off subpar furniture for upper end is very deceiving. I would never send or recommend hunter furniture to anyone. Also now I'm without living room furniture till I find another furniture store to order new. The owner of hunter furniture is a joke. Think 3 times before you go...
Read moreWow, these people are unbelievable! Today, Hunter's furniture was top notch (as per usual). I noticed the couch in this rental was broken; therefore, I immediately notified the owner. He contacted HUNTERS, and they delivered a brand new sofa to this property within 3 hours of getting the call.. Unfortunately, there was a mishap with the existing lamps during delivery of the couch... HOWEVER, they made up for it by replacing not only one but two lamps (so they would match)... This means they drove 20+ miles away twice to deliver and stage the rental house before the guest arrived (with 30 minutes to spare). Wow! If this isn't customer service, I don't know what is! Way...
