The Shop | Design Shop Interiors — Local services in Folsom

I stopped in this shop a few months ago. I was in the Granite Bay to have lunch at one of my favorite Mexican restaurants which so happens to be across the street. So after lunch, I drive on over to check the Shop out. It is a Design Shop without the snobbery or gaudiness. The Shop is a design and retail shop selling furniture, home decor, lighting fixtures, kitchenware, tableware, pottery, and glass ware. Beautiful items giving off California cool vibes of rustic coastal, muted minimalistic Scandinavian, and contemporary bohemian. But get this, the prices were not crazy high.

The furniture and merchandise are gorgeously staged. The pieces are beautiful curated pieces. Framed commercial art print work prints and paintings ranged from $20-$120. They had an elm wood desk with interior veneer drawers for $525. That piece caught my eye, but I don't need a desk. It was a beautiful piece though and a great price for the quality. But an odd thing is that in the same area they sell functional furniture, they have furniture that are deemed decorative. For instance, they had a pair of wooden chairs for purchase. I sat down to see how it would feel. They were wobbly. When I got up, I noticed a small handwritten sign on the chair stating they were decorative and not to be used. Hmm. Just be aware of decorative vs functional pieces.

Leyla made sure I felt welcome and taken care of from the moment I walked in to the Holiday Open House. She introduced me to Stacy, a wonderful Designer, to assist with ordering a rug. . Fast forward 3 weeks and I have turned my entire project over to Stacy. What a seamless process! I already have most of my custom furnishings on order, and look forward to wrapping up the project in the next few weeks.

The showroom itself is a treasure trove of home décor and furniture options. I was able to buy some many items right off the floor. Their vintage pieces are beautiful. What really set this experience apart was the customer service—Leyla and Stacy were both incredibly friendly, approachable, and genuinely invested in making sure I was happy with every decision.

I always enjoy shopping at The Shop. Their store staging and styling is so inspiring. We love going to the sip and shops for the holidays and have fun picking out unique items and getting ideas on how we can style our trees and spaces for the holidays. They have great gift items at reasonable prices, it always seems like there is something for everyone. The piece of furniture I have from them is my most favorite and I get compliments on it all the time. The furniture is so pretty and if my home was large enough I could pick out multiple pieces to fill it, one day! You can tell the sofas are such good quality and so comfortable. I will admit some things are out of my price range, but I have never left without something and feel the things that I purchase are unique and priced well for what I am getting.
