A friend brought me here, telling me the food was good and the money goes to a good cause. It's definitely true that it goes to a good cause, but the food.. I have to tell you about the food. I had a walleye fish fry. It has the lightest breading. probably a lightly seasoned flour dredge. It was one of the best fish fries I've eaten. Better than when I used to go to Schwabenoff. On a whim, I decided to get the German potato salad, mostly to try something new from the norm of getting fries. Best damn German potato salad I've ever had. This American Legion is a hidden gem. Can't wait till my next visit. Just want to finish by saying we should all visit our American Legions and have a meal to support the organization.
