First of all Rio ranch was way cheaper, more custom items there is always a manager on sight, now after the Cardenas buy out is a disaster, not a single cashier on sight or only one. The owners or franchise pushed the self checking machines (like aldi) but this useless machines wont work with most hispanic old customers that have no idea how to use them is frustrating see them struggling, the machine after you scan 3-4 items ask for "assistance" which requires an actual employee to unlock it and letting you keep scanning items so it takes forever for like 20 items to cash out. Prices are exaggerating expensive (updated nov 2024), yes Aldi, stater had better products way more competitive, everything and mostly Hispanic products are way off the roof, the only time this place is okay is to find something urgent, other than that I don't recommend this market to...

Yes , this location is short staffed. But the employees in the morning make the best of it with a great attitude and are always helpful. The store is clean, organized and the employees are always busy , which is a good thing. And yes there are 4 self checkout registers and an employee near to help. The poor reviews are most likely from old shoppers whom aren't familiar with the self check out registers. But having 4 self check out registers just improves the foot traffic inside the grocery. 4/5 Stars only because the lack of employees. I WENT TO THIS STORE TWO DAYS AGO AND I COULDN'T BELIVE THE PRICES OF THEIR EGGS:$20. PER DOZEN! THEY EVEN HAVE A SIGN APOLOGIZING FOR THE PRICE INCREASE AND BLAMING IT ON "THE BIRD FLU".
