WaBa Grill — Restaurant in Fontana

I recently visited the Waba Grill on Cherry Avenue in Fontana and had a really pleasant experience. The place was quiet, peaceful, and very clean — exactly the kind of spot where you can relax and enjoy your meal without any rush or noise. The staff were gentle, polite, and well-mannered, greeting customers with genuine warmth and patience, which made the visit even more enjoyable.

The restaurant is beautifully decorated for the Halloween season, with a fun and festive touch that kids will absolutely love. It’s definitely a family-friendly spot — comfortable seating, calm atmosphere, and enough space for children to move around without any chaos.

I ordered the chicken bowl and tacos, and both were excellent. The chicken bowl was fresh, perfectly grilled, and flavorful as always. But the tacos really stood out — they were delicious and worth trying if you haven’t already. The food quality was exactly what I expect from Waba Grill: consistent, tasty, and well-prepared.

Another plus: parking is free and plenty, so you never have to worry about finding a spot even during busy hours.

Overall, this location is well-maintained, quiet, and family-friendly, with great food and kind service. Highly recommended — especially if you want a clean, calm place to enjoy a good meal with...

Horrible at answering the phone .. I called and called and called and nothing.. I ended up walking in with my phone in my hand as it was ringing and nobody was worried to answer it.. I understand they were busy but that’s why you have a phone as well.. it’s part of your customer service.. and when I try to complain to the young kid he ignored me and still went about with what he was doing .. another girl had to tell him to help me and I still asked him to not ignore me I said something and he still completely ignored me until he was ready to take my order .. didn’t even apologize for the wait.. and the worse part is the man anger was there .. I didn’t even complain to him he obviously doesn’t care... never coming back to this waba...

I used to love this location! The young people that work here are always nice and friendly and they pretty much always get my order right. But I don’t know why the owners decided to remove all the sides and sauces that we used to be able to serve ourselves. Now you have to ask for it. I think they’re just being very cheap, to be honest.

Not only does this change make MORE work for their employees because they have to package it now, it also makes it so we get portion controlled for those sides as well. And the hot sauce they give out is disgusting now. I guess I’m gonna look for another place to grab my lunch. The option to serve myself my sides was the only reason I came here instead of the WaBa...
