Family Dollar — Local services in Ford City

This store was always my favorite store. I spend a lot of my hard earned money here. However, in the last week or so my brother and I were told we would be banned from the store if we didn’t pipe down. My brother is handicapped had three strokes and deserved not to be judged. The manager Tammy confronted me by saying one of her workers told her I said she was a racist. I did ask Dakota the worker if he’d told her I said that he said he never told her that. I then said you know what I said. I said her behavior and actions were racist. First off I’m a Born again Christian and have never shown anything but a Christian presence in this place. My brother talks loud bc he can’t really hear well after having three strokes. Nevertheless, I don’t appreciate being threatened of being banned from a place that I spend so much money in. We’ve never been nothing but nice and respectful to these workers. My point is these workers I thought were the best people around town. But if you’re going to treat us like we’re nothing I will take my hard earned money somewhere else. Judge not less you be judged. Don’t be so quick to say someone will be banned bc you’re judging them for nothing other than the color of their skin. P.S for the most part there are good people working in this store. I still give this store five stars bc of the cleanliness and inventory. But the behavior of that manager and whomever went back and told her I said she was a racist I...

This Family Dollar store is much nicer and bigger than the one I used to go to. Much more variety than the one in the town 3 miles away. Everything is out of the isles and neatly put on the shelves. The staff is very friendly, unlike staff at almost any store around, hard to find nice people like the ones that work here. ...

I can find things here that I can't find in other places. I do like the clothes... but do NOT recommend the bras (They don't seem to support at all). The place has allows been clean wherever I've gone there. I've only had pleasant experiences with staff...
