Ford City National Bakery — Restaurant in Ford City

I called simply to find out if they make cakes, as I'm new to the area and pregnant and wanting to do a gender reveal cake for my in laws. The woman who answered the phone was extremely rude when I was only trying to get information. Then proceeded to tell me that if I was to call her the day before she would have had my order Made. I then explained that I wasnt in state yesterday (most of us have busy lives and she didnt even need to suggest that I should have called yesterday as we cant go back in time). Then she hung up on me!!! Instead of suggesting to order and have it ready for Monday or whatever next day, she just hung up. And because of that rudeness, I'll be sure to never provide business to this place, which sucks cause I love to support small businesses and if they are good at what they do, I often provide business to then by word of mouth . AMAZING...THEY R THE BEST! Won't be disappointed the buns are great. The donuts are amzing. The maple donuts and bear claws r to die for. So much better then the franchise. Eww. Plus always the best kind service. I appreciate this local business and the love u put into your bakery. Thanks so much for your hard work and dedication to the community. I grew up in Ford City. The owners when I was a child handed down the bakery to their kids. Every time I am in Ford city I MUST stop snd buy the pecan ting. The fruit filled sweet rolls. The maple covered cinnamon twists. Not to mention the buns. Now I’ve added their hoagies which are huge, filled to brim with meats and the goodies and ridiculously inexpensive.
