Food Lion — Local services in Forest City

We love going to food lion we go here for a quick pickup it is close to our house and very convenient the staff here is veey nice they always help us with what we need. We ade always asking where stuff is. I only gave 4 out of 5 stars because sometimes there are some sketchy people there and if you want the absolute best price you should go to walmart but for what food lion is it is very good. They had products priced wrong and the cashier would not fix the problem. I had to pay the higher price and then go to customer service and discuss it with them. They finally refund me the difference after I told them to give credit and they could have the product back. Thhey were supposed to be on sale and they were trying to change regular price. Wonder how many people they got on it

2-11-22 the cashier that I went to was a young man. He was rude ,never smiled, never even spoke unless I said something. He was loading bags with heavy items to the hilt and I asked him to please not make them so heavy. He scowled at this and took 1 item out and pushed the bag to me and snarled "can you handle this "? I had already explained to him that I had trouble lifting heavy bags. I picked it up and the look that he gave me was "don't you dare say that it is too heavy ",so I just told him that it was heavier than I was comfortable with but I would deal with it. He still loaded the rest heavy or way too full. When he was done and I paid he snatched the receipt off the register and said "here while holding it toward me. No thank you for shopping. He never asked if I found everything that I was looking for or...

I would like to mention an exceptional employee at the Forest City, NC Food Lion. His name is Stephen McDaniel. We were shopping yesterday, 4/11/2017 and this week Ken's Salad Dressing is on sale. We could not locate any bottles of Thousand Island Dressing. We asked this associate, who was busy restocking other items on the same isle if there were any more in stock. He said he thought there might be some on an end cap. He checked, as we did, but there was none. We thanked him for his help and continued shopping. As we were finishing up, this associate found us in the store and had 4 bottles of the dressing we were looking for. I would like to say that this young man went above and beyond to locate an item we were looking for. There are not many associates (in any retail outlet) that would have done what he did. We just wanted to let you know that you have an exceptional associate at the Forest City, NC Food Lion and I hope that his efforts do not go unnoticed or under...
