We decided to try a different Mexican restaurant, so this was our first time here. When we walked in we weren't seated, so we asked the guy at the counter where could we sit? Read moreStopped in for lunch and had a yen for Mexican food, needless to say, I wasn't disappointed. La Loma was fresh and new to the area and the experience was very pleasant. I decided to try the Chile Colorado and was very pleased ! Pork Carnitas served in a salsa of onions , tomatoes and spices cooked to perfection. Along with rice, beans and corn tortillas, it was a very substantial meal ! They also great specials that are easy on your budget as well. The staff was very cheerful, courteous and professional and it says much for La Loma. When I'm back in Forest City, I'll be...

I broke open the chunks of meat, and they were slimy and smelled putrid. I alerted the waiter, who offered to bring me a new plate. I declined and paid our bill, minus the Carnitas, and left without ever...
