The Touch Up Salon — Local services in Forney

This place receives zero stars from me. I made an appointment for my 91 year old grandmother who has bad back arthritis. When we arrived the stylist, Mitsy, was not ready and said it would be a few moments. No problem. Thirty minutes later she was still not ready and was not showing any signs of concern about it either. I asked another employee if she knew how long it would be. She tossed her hands up and said I am not Mitsy so I do not know, Mitsy is over there. Mitsy, paid no attention and continued to talk, previous clients hair was done, they were chatting. When we finally walked out almost 45 minutes later, no one even batted an eye. The woman who I asked about the time, also complained openly that she had only two clients that day, with service like this, is it a wonder why? I recently had an appointment for a color and cut with Patty in May ( a mothers day gift). I'm a first time mom with a 4 month old at home so lately I haven't had the time, energy or patience to get my hair done or even brushed. But my mom was visiting and offered to watch the baby while I went to the appointment. Anyway I had previously gotten a haircut from her back in December of 2022, and enjoyed it. I have natural curly hair but dont really fix it often. I was in need of a good haircut. Patty knows how to cut curly hair. Not everyone has that ability. Overall my experience was relaxing and she did a great job I felt very good afterwards. Absolutely love this salon!! I have been going to Krystal since 2023. She took me from a dark burgundy red (done at home with box dye) to the most gorgeous buttery blonde over a few sessions, all while maintaining the integrity and health of my hair! I’ve been going to her ever since & she delivers every time! She is an expert in blondes - I’ve been bright blonde, ashy/cool toned blonde, a warm honey blonde & everything in between.
