You want to get a good workout in on-post? Come to this gym! It has everything you need (see the images and video attached). I’m not familiar with the history of the fitness center itself (recently married into military), but the turf room was once a basketball court. I’ve seen this done before (see ā€˜Fitness Connection in Greenville, NC’ review) and it typically works out well. Mgmt. was very creative, utilizing the ample space well, designing a turf area with several surrounding squat racks and deadlift platforms. On the perimeter, you’ll also find stationary bikes and assault treadmills, foam boxes and kettlebells throughout the gym. They offer modern dumbbells. Benches, weights and cable machines are also found in this room, although there’s a designated weight room inside the facility where you’ll find an abundance of exercise machines. There’s another room stuffed with cardio equipment and down the hall? Racquet courts. The restrooms are clean, nothing remarkable. Speaking of which, only the turf area stands out. Everything else looks grey, looks like it hasn’t been cleaned in years. This doesn’t exactly bother me, but it would make a difference to clean the walls, maybe add color? Anyway, the fitness center also has a concession stand, offering post-workout shakes. I haven’t tried one myself. :-P Overall, great gym and atmosphere! I am delighted to have found a great gym on-base!

This was the first gym I visited at Fort Bragg. The sign up was easy, and even better that one sign up puts you in the system for all the gyms on base. There are several.... what??? That's awesome. Also, compared to my National Guard life, these folks are jacked up. That's good, I am too. I noticed people staring at me, if only they knew I make M&Ms for a living and not full time service. It's ok though. I served active with 101st. It sticks with you. Anyway, this place was awesome. Huge. Like huge huge. There's some type of smoothie bar, but it was closed at that particular time. Oh well. Next time. I'll be heading that way everyday. Please visit this gym šŸ‹ļøā€ā™‚ļø it's great šŸ‘

This gym has everything and its section off. It also has a juice bar. I had my first wheatgrass shot here and it wasn't bad. The woman behind the juice bar was very informative and helpful. Sorry I forgot her name.

Please, please...something has to be done concerning the AC/Ventilation system at this facility; especially in the men's locker room and the racquetball courts. I mentioned the problem with the extremely high temp on the racquetball courts to one of the managers several weeks ago. He placed a temp reading on one of the courts and the reading showed 88 degrees F...and certainly when actual play is taking place, the temp easily goes up another 10-15 degrees. Please, before someone has a fatal heat stroke, something has to be done. If A/C and/or ventilation can't be immediately fixed, then an investment has to be made in the purchase of industrial type fans to at least get some air circulating in...

The only thing this gym doesn’t have is a tibialis anterior (dorsiflexion) machine. Even though the gym is always packed to the brim, they have so many duplicates of squat racks and adjustable pulleys that I can pretty much always work around the crowd. Idk what other people are talking about when they say it’s subpar. It’s literally the best gym on base (that’s open on weekends and after 3pm weekdays) which is why it’s always full. When a machine breaks, it’s fixed quickly unlike at Funk. However, it’s the dead of winter and the women’s locker room is about the same temp as outside: frigid. Rest of the gym is comfortable.

People are chill too, I often share machines...
