I went to Paradise Home and Patio store on May 24, 2025, and bought a table and chairs set for just under $2700. I worked with the owner, Sherry, who told me delivery would be in two weeks. She had the four chairs on the lot but the table would "have to come up from the warehouse". I specifically asked about the delivery date because I had family coming in on June 22. She reassured me "everything would be delivered before that".
I CALLED on June 7 for a delivery date. I spoke with Sherry who told me "it would be there next week. Call me Monday for a date".
I CALLED AGAIN on June 9 and again spoke with Sherry who said "the table and chairs would be delivered to them Wednesday or Thursday and delivery to me would be after that, the following week". Sherry said she would call me with a delivery date. I told her that would be going into the fourth week since I paid for the furniture, which I didn't have yet, and it didn't seem to faze her in the least.
I CALLED AGAIN on June 17 asking when my furniture would be delivered? Again, I spoke with the owner, Sherry, who told me "the warehouse had put the wrong table on the truck". Sherry said I could have the chairs delivered or wait until the table came in and deliver everything at once. I told her that was not acceptable. She offered a loaner table until the correct one was brought from the warehouse. I had no choice but to agree to this if I wanted somewhere for my family to sit. When I asked Sherry when my table would be here she said “your table should be in soon”.
Have you noticed a pattern yet? THERE WAS NO COMMUNICATION UNLESS I CALLED THEM. No updates on extended delivery times. No updates on the wrong table being shipped. Nothing but "Gosh, I'm sorry. These things happen".
The four chairs and loaner table was supposed to be delivered on June 21 because I was having my patio rescreened and painted and they would be completed on the 20th. Guess who showed up in the middle of the paint and screening on Friday, the 20th? Yep, right in the middle of everything.
I CALLED the store on July 5, 7, 8, 9 and 10 trying to reach Sherry to inquire about my table. On those dates I spoke with a woman who said she was a “new employee so I’m not really sure what is going on but I will give Sherry the message”. Wrong answer! Messages were left for Sherry to return my calls but she did not.
I CALLED AGAIN on July 15 and the new employee said the table should be arriving to the store sometime the third week of July. She stated she would call me later in the week to set up a delivery date. She did not call.
I CALLED AGAIN on July 18 to see if my table had made it to the store. A tentative delivery date to me was set for Wednesday, July 23, but the new employee had to clear it with Sherry. She said she would call me back. She did not. At this point, I was not surprised that I didn’t get a call back with an update.
The table I had ordered on May 24, 2025, that was promised would be delivered in two weeks, was FINALLY delivered not on Wednesday as tentatively discussed but on Tuesday, the 23, just as I was getting home from an appointment. The driver actually called after not getting an answer knocking on my door.
To summarize: I was told when I paid the $2700 the table and chairs would be delivered in 2 weeks. It took almost 9 weeks. There was no communication unless I initiated it. I was getting the run around. They had my money so…..For the last 3 weeks the owner, Sherry, would not even return my calls. The new employee was almost as bad. I don’t understand how they have been in business this long with customer service like this. Worst experience ever with this company.

We wandered around for awhile and then were greeted by a sales associate. She was friendly and helpful. After looking at numerous outdoor sets we decided on two different sets. Approximately $12k for 4 swivel rockers, fire pit, 2 counter height chairs and a small table to match. Everyone was friendly and helpful at the point of sale. The owner told us if we ordered the 2 chairs and table that she did not have in stock TODAY, that they could deliver it in approx 3 weeks when we needed it, so we did. Went to pay with a CC, but they wanted a check. Did not have one with us, so I drove back from Vero Beach to deliver a check. They match guarantee with other stores, but I could not read the brand on my invoice. So we called and emailed numerous times over the next 2 weeks, but our question was never answered! Day of delivery 2 of our 4 chairs were damaged! Saw the damage while still on the truck. Oh and the table and chairs that we had to order that day to get on time.... Were not on the delivery truck! Called the store to report the damage and we were told that they would see if they had any chairs left. Missing table and chairs were running late. Numerous calls and emails to figure out a plan to get our chairs replaced fell on deaf ears. Bottom line, customer service after the sale is beyond terrible. The worst we have ever experienced!...
   Read moreBeware … me and the wife were there on Saturday found lots of furniture we loved and don’t get me wrong the furniture is beautiful. We found a bar on the floor that they said was not able to deliver so they dropped the price and told us 5 grand . We loved the bar and we were going to pay upwards of 15 grand on all of their products. We asked if they could possibly drop the price a little more due to the scratches on the top of the bar that were noticeable. I mean if you’re going to pay thousands for something, you want perfection . Anyways we asked if he could drop the price more and he had stated he would need to call the person who is selling it . Was not contacted back for thee days and considering Sunday is a day . Anyways we offered 3500 and was told nope 5900 I wanted to say wait you said 5 on Saturday. But no , just the way he talked to me , didn’t sound like he wanted any kind of sale. So I was like ok bye . So bad salesmanship and I will spend my 15 elsewhere as we had noticed the brands on the furniture and decided to buy direct from them and it didn’t cost as much as they were selling items . This was my experience. I’m not in anyway upset about not taking the offer but no counter offer was offered and he went up on the original price he stated . So that’s why I am writing this review.
