What a great Playhouse. My first visit was last night. I was thoroughly entertained by the cast and story of Four Old Broads. When I purchased my tickets, only $30, based on the seating chart, my first inkling was that it was a small little intimate playhouse. Not so!
There is plenty of parking but get there early for a close spot otherwise it is a bit of a walk. There is a comfortably designed, open-air patio/foyer/lobby with tables, chairs and benches; plenty of room for standing or sitting. There is a snack bar with simple and reasonably priced snacks and beverages including wine; all $1-3. The staff are fun and appreciative. Play the 50/50. They claim that the winner will get a million $ (some day). Yesterday, it was only $100.
The Playhouse itself is more spacious than it appears with plenty of elbow room. It has ascending seating, making for a good view no matter your seat. What caught me next was the comfort of the seats. Deceptively comfortable!. The whole experience was great. A nice way to spend a Saturday evening with a couple of friends! I will definitely be back.

Read moreBUYER BEWARE! I bought 3 tickets to go see the Best Christmas Pageant Ever. We went on 12/3/23. Having never been here I has no idea what to expect, but I figured at 35.00 per ticket it must be a a pretty decent Playhouse. Not only were we all disappointed in the Playhouse itself, the play was, well, to be kind, may I suggest to go see any child's school play before paying to go see this. We left at the intermission which none of us have ever done before. One thing that is not mentioned anywhere in the social media ads for this event is the "actors" consist mostly of young children and have never been on stage before. There was zero decor on the stage and the props were very minimal. The Playhouse itself was old and felt very dirty. I'm all for teaching our youth community theater but certainly not at the expense of the public. If this information was anywhere in their advertisements, I would have saved $110.00 dollars I spent on this outing. This was a complete disappointment from start to finish....
Read moreA wholly entertaining three-act tale of humorous deception, witty interpersonal complicity, and a shining display of the lengths a deep friendship will go to maintain both—Boeing Boeing delivers laughs throughout, relatable character quirks, and at times immerses the viewer in palpable anxiety.
The cast at The Pineapple Playhouse put on a wonderful performance! The majority of the roles were executed quite well, with minimal dialog flubs and infectious chemistry. There were a couple of moments of overacting (in both energy and quality) that broke my immersion, but ultimately did not take away from a fantastic show.
The Pineapple Playhouse is a charming venue that left me feeling as though I had done something substantial with my evening, having chosen Boeing Boeing over a production at the larger Riverside Theatre in Vero Beach. I strongly recommend seeing a show at this hidden gem of the...
