Last month I went shopping for a new vehicle and saw all the new electronics offered in 2016 luxury cars & trucks. I love toys but I was put off by price tags that were more like buying a small home not a truck. Then I realized that what I wanted was all the new "toys", my several year old Denali still was in great condition and just needed an electronic upgrade. I called Installation Station to find out what was available. They suggested the new Pioneer NEX line of Stereo head units and also what accessories I would need to get all the "toys" I desired, such as Bluetooth connectivity, navigation, backup cameras, and complete voice integration with my phone, existing Bose sound system, OnStar, my rear entertainment system and to work flawlessly with existing steering my wheel controls (volume, microphone, etc.). I researched the advice given by them on the internet and the price they quoted me to buy it all and have them install it. Well I decided to purchase it all directly from them and they installed it. I couldn't be happier. The system and installation were both great!. These guys Rock! They answered all my questions, and they stand behind there work. I would recommend them any family member or friends in need. Car audio & electronics has gotten a lot more complicated in the last several years and you need a real pros to help guide you. The only choice I really needed to make was to Call Installation Station....
Read moreSo, about a month ago, I took my vehicle in for assistance with installing my aftermarket Skar audio that I had already partially in. I was having multiple issues doing it on my own so I thought it would be a good idea to have some professionals do it. While the audio was good.... there were some things that I noticed. My trim got heavily scratched behind the seats where the amp was at, as well in other areas where it was nowhere nearby. They were never there before, so I came back and asked about it, and I was told the amp must've been moving around... but it's so heavy that it wouldn't move around like that, so that didn't make sense. Upon further inspection when taking the trim apart after I bought the pieces to replace it, there was missing fastener clips for some the trim parts (leaving some basically loose) and a trim bolt was replaced with a different one, resulting in that area to be stripped (due to it not being the correct thread). Overall, while the audio sounds great, I don't appreciate the shoddy care on my vehicle as well as the damage done. Some of those scratches were very deep and should've never happened. I was basically lied to in my face when asking about it. Could've at least got the right bolts for that trim panel. And not to mention-- some of the cables on one speaker was loose, leaving the...
Read moreI am extremely disappointed with the service I received from the Installation Station. After spending $650 on an amp, two speakers, and installation, I was left with a disaster. Just a day later, my rear speakers stopped working. When I returned to their shop to address the issue, I was met with rudeness from the bald gentleman at the front desk, who acted as if he had done me a favor by installing my rear speakers - which I specifically requested not to be installed.
Upon further inspection of their work, I discovered a plethora of issues: exposed spliced wires, a broken antenna wire, random ground hanging, and the ground wire recklessly screwed into my AC vent pipe. The entire situation is an absolute nightmare, and I am at a loss as to how to begin repairing this atrocious mess.
Unfortunately, I don't know the name of the individual who installed my speakers and amp, but it is clear that he is not fit to work in a professional shop. I have receipts and photographs as evidence of their subpar work. The Installation Station's service quality is even worse than that...
