Hands down one of the worst shopping experiences I’ve ever had. The employees in this store seem to forget that they work in customer service. The produce section is constantly “closed” while they’re stocking, which is already inconvenient — but instead of handling it like normal people with a polite “hey, give us a few minutes” or even just putting up a rope/sign, they choose to literally YELL at you if you step one foot inside. I’m not exaggerating — full voice-raising, attitude-heavy yelling, like you just committed a crime by trying to buy lettuce.
And while they’ve got the area blocked off, guess what? You’re stuck waiting in line with everyone else, wasting time, because you can’t get your produce until they’re good and ready to be done. No sense of urgency, no respect for customers’ time — just attitude.
And look, I get it — this is a discounted grocery store. People come here to save money, and it’s not exactly luxury shopping. But that doesn’t give the employees free rein to treat customers like garbage. The attitude here is absolutely unreal. If your staff can’t handle being around customers without snapping at them, maybe they shouldn’t be working in a grocery store. And if management thinks this is acceptable, that tells me everything I need to know about how little they care about the people who shop here.
I don’t go to a store to be barked at like I’m in trouble. I go to buy my groceries and leave. If they can’t manage something as basic as treating customers with a shred of respect, then I’ll gladly spend my money elsewhere. Save yourself the headache and go to literally any other store — unless you enjoy standing in line just to be yelled at for daring to want a bag of bananas.
edit 9/24/25: I hate that I’m having to write yet another bad review about this place, but here we are. My dad went in and politely asked a simple question, and the old guy working there decided to be a complete jerk about it. No reason, no excuse — just straight-up attitude like my dad was bothering him. It takes zero effort to be decent to people, but apparently that’s too much for him. If you hate your job that much, maybe don’t take it out on customers who are just trying to shop. I’ll make sure others know how...

Pedro with the tattoo 823 on his ears and the cashier who was dressed like it was winter (in the 98 degree weather)...was so rude. From the time we stepped in there it was funny business. The lady at the front desk didn't even want to assistance us. We got to the cashier (we are going to call her Winter girl) was as if she was mad because she was working. We were inform from one employee about the price of an item and Winter girl didn't charge us what we were told. When asked about it Winter girl the cashier gave us such a nasty attitude. Another cashier begins to scream at the customers in her lane rudely and it was just ghetto. When Pedro finally comes (whom might just be the manager), most items were priced wrong and they didn't know the correct prices. Winter girl told Pedro that we were confused and didn't state that we were told by another employee the prices. Thank the sweet Lord that the employee whom informed us about the prices came out. No where in there entire store did it state we were limited to the amount of items we could purchase. But Pedro than limited us and even got UPset about my sister paying for my food, stating that she paid for it and could not pay for me. So if someone needed assistance and she helped pay for their food that would be a problem there.
Rudest...
Read moreThis place use to be helpful in the community, so much that other people from different communities where making the drive to it. Now the prices are very close to the store prices and worse if the products are on sale at other stores.
I have taken a break from going here for maybe 2 years because I started seeing changes and when I came back wow!! I should have known when I seen all the people in suits and ties walking around the place that it was going to be used as a business to generate great amounts of income from all their free donated items. Instead of making enough to pay people salaries and the overhead plus some to make advancements on the property ect. I’m sure they are generating great amounts more. Sad sad sad that you actually take this from our poverty stricken community.
Also the products are expired such as meat that has been sitting so long it has freezer burn and cereal with mold. I told the workers and when I came back the display of cereal was still there that was At least a...
