Horrible Experience

I had done a lot of research into what kind of reception desk I had wanted, landing on this company for the customization they offered and the clean look I envisioned. Paul had seemed nice and accommodating to my requests and placing the order was pretty seamless. He mentioned making hundreds of these and shipping them across the country all the time.

Upon receiving the desk, we had to pay someone to install and shut down our business that day to get it set up. It came extremely damaged, cracked in two locations, multiple scrapes, scratches, dents and very dirty. I took pictures and contacted Paul, at which point he told me he would make me a new desk.

At this point communication was lacking. I had to check in multiple times, for which he would say the desk was shipping out that week two weeks in a row. It took another month and half to receive the new desk. He contacted a local company to set up the new desk and take the old one. We shut down our business again to receive a second DAMAGED desk. This one was also missing parts and the dimensions were different than the first desk. We had to mix and match from the old desk and new desk, and it still did not line up and was still damaged in multiple spots. The local business told us he would reach out to Paul directly to let him know of the damage.

I still had to reach out to Paul as he never contacted me. He then proceeds to tell me that "Sometimes we just don't get lucky" and he can refund me $100. Refunding me $100 on a $1250 order, when I had to pay for the first install and shut my business down for two days is unacceptable.

When I told him I would then do a chargeback as what I ordered was NOT what was delivered to me, he threatened to sue me and take me to small claims court. I have never been treated so rudely before. He messed up, TWICE, and refused to do right by his customer. I strongly suggest you do not use this seller as his business practices...

We are a drycleaning company that was looking for a functional but professional counter design for the front end of our store. When I found DFS design I was immediately impressed with the different options and simple elegance of the pieces. We needed a more custom design, so we emailed the dimensions and needs to the designer. He reached out within hours! Talk about customers come first! We worked together to give us exactly what we wanted while being sure it was structurally sound. He was with us every step of the way! Once the pieces arrived a couple were damaged in the shipping process but Paul immediately got on the phone with us and sent replacement pieces at no charge! We couldn't have asked for more! We will continue to use him and his team on future projects! We really cannot say enough good things...

I purchased a receptionist desk that had never been opened and it was missing all the hardware. I have called them twice a week for two months. Paul keeps saying he will ship out the hardware or he will have someone call me but it never happens. I told him i would pay for it, pay for shipping, anything and he keeps promising to ship out the hardware but just doesn't do it. Stay away from this company. Worst customer service I have ever dealt with in my 56 years of life. If i could give a worse rating than a one...
