Dillard's — Local services in Fort Smith

No customer service at all!

Walked in with my father to look at shoes, there was no one to help so we went and spent money at Tradehome. Came back through as we left and he wanted a watch and cologne. No one to help at either. Luckily, the case was unlocked and I reached over the counter and got the cologne we both wanted from inside the case. We walked through to find someone at a register and the three women inside the jewelry area wouldn’t even acknowledge us. We walked over to women’s shoes to pay for our cologne and we left. We got home to find that one of the bottles of cologne was actually deodorant which we did not want. I understand that business is slower and the mall is slowly phasing out, but if you don’t plan on providing customer service, go ahead and close the doors now. Highly Unfriendly staff, in cosmetics almost especially. It is almost impossible to return any item at Dillard's in Fort Smith. The staff overall, with exception to the ladies in customer service upstairs, consistently present with an attitude and manners that I can only describe briefly as "you are all so far beneath me". I like the items I can purchase in Dillard's, and I like the sales. However, I shop at the Fort Smith Dillard's less and less due to the silly staff attitudes. Upstairs in the Fort Smith Dillard's customer service, located behind the kitchen items, the staff are quite the opposite. I love Dillard's! There's not a department that I can't find something I love; From the shoe sale in the middle of the isle to the awesome jewelry red tagged in the front of the store to the pot rack I bought years ago. I have come across lot of workers who are snobby rude, and unapproachable. There's been more than once I've been unseen or ignored in the make up and perfume department. I've had to go get someone to come help me more than once. Which is crazy bc there's usually always more workers than customers in this area.
