I am thankful for the workers at the Fort Valley Utility Commission, especially Keisha and Rosie. Rosie was extremely helpful. My complaint is with the manager Mr. Ross. He is decent on the phone which I would expect from a professional. However, he said he was going to get back to me concerning a late payment fee of $25 that I was willing and able to make. The office staff and he mentioned that the website is set up to accept payment but it cannot depict late payment afterwards. It would be considered a default which I understand after they explained it. With a weak system like that there should be another way to honor a payment that is keeping a customer from being approved for late payment eligibility. I was not even asking for the entire 15 days just ONE week. What is the big deal if you are going to charge me a late fee anyway. He never called me back and lead me to believe I was alright. A day before I was able to make the payment as discussed with him, he sends out the men to disconnect our service! Now, there are more added fees compounded. This is robbery, unjust, greedy and unnecessary if only he could work with his customers. Fort Valley will never flourish with a get it all or nothing mentality. It will dry up more unless there is better Justice and ethical communication instead of laziness. Very disappointed in this management and the utility commission of Fort Valley. No service Tech came by 1 oâclock so I called and was told service tech has a window time between 1 and 3 oâclock so I continue to wait till 3 oâclock still no tech arrived ! I called again this time receptionist said sheâd call Service Tech, Put me on hold to call Tech then told me - The tech said âI could not get this Com - South service at my residence location (after I was told Weeks ago I could Com South Service (not once but two times when I called ahead of moving to this residence!) So today I waited hours to be told I could not get Com-South Internet Service , I Spoke to someone for my Deposit Return , but was very disappointed I couldnât get the Internet Service I was interested in and expected to get after inquiring ahead of this new residence purchase, (And as told I could get at this new residence. I experienced an issue with my bank courtesy of the New Scammers edition, and had no idea my payment that showed it went thru actually didn't. It was reversed and not back to my account, mind you that was 2months ago. They tried to get in contact with me to inform me that the payment was reversed. I never got the info. When I went online to pay my current that is how I found out.
