Mi Ranchito — Restaurant in Fort Valley

The quality of the food is not what it use to be, but rather mediocre this past Sunday 11/12/2023.

Not nearly enough servers although I applaud them as No One was just standing around.

There were 3 of us, each received our food one at a time. We received the first plate and about 10 minutes later the 2nd and then the last plate was served about 15 minutes later.

The wait for our bill was in an untimely manner.

We use to enjoy eating here, but it may be a long time before we eat there again.

I'm sorry that it seems to have gone down in it's ability to create wonderful food and have great service as it did a few months ago.

I would be willing to pay more for these things if they were up to the quality as before.

I hope they rectify these...

I’m always on the lookout for authentic Mexican food when I travel, and Mi Ranchito did not disappoint. I was pleasantly surprised by the generous portions—they really give you a full spread! Along with chips and salsa, my meal came with a fresh side salad topped with guacamole and sour cream, plus rice, beans, meat, and warm tortillas.

I had the Carne Adovada, which was tender and flavorful, while my wife enjoyed the Carne Asada, cooked perfectly. Everything tasted fresh, and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. I’ll definitely be coming back next time...

The food here is great, it was our first time coming in. But the atmosphere, cleanliness, and service will not bring us back. We sit down, order our drinks and food, then there’s a bug crawling towards us on the wall next to my fiancé’s left. He kills the bug, then about 10 minutes later, another bug just like the previous one is on the same wall. We didn’t feel like causing a scene or trouble because the restaurant was pretty busy with other tables dining in. It’s also not the customers job to play exterminator.
